Beautiful yurt, beautiful surroundings, perfectly curated for a wonderful experience. Very close to Paoria and lots of outdoor adventures. George and Devon are wonderful hosts and very kind and welcoming. Absolutely perfect stay and a must if you are looking in the area!

Peaceful escape. A beautiful property to enjoy birding, clear your mind, and sleep peacefully. The yurt has everything you need. The closeby towns of Paonia and Hotchkiss have great food. Big B Orchard next store was fun to visit for live music and a good meal.

Beautiful setting and scenery, loved the river walk. Great place to relax and unwind and enjoy the beautiful mountains and wildlife right outside the windows. Yurt is comfortable and cozy. We like it so much, we keep coming back year after year! Hosts are great!

When we saw the yurt as an option, we were intrigued. We were worried that it might not be comfortable, perhaps a little spartan. But this yurt was so pretty and quite comfortable! It was one big circular room with a nice living area, good size kitchen area, a table, closet space and a very comfortable bed. The air-conditioning worked quite well and cooled the place down beautifully. The bathroom is fully partitioned off and was nicely appointed, had a good amount of room, and the shower was excellent. Outside the yurt is surrounded by a nice deck with outdoor furniture, and a fabulous hot tub. The walkway out towards the river was beautiful.This yurt was exceptionally clean - everything was sparkling! We were able to do some laundry, the washer and dryer worked quite well. We will definitely stay here again, it was just lovely.

You cannot beat the location of this pet friendly yurt if you’re in the area to visit wineries or Paonia. You can walk to Big B’s as well which is definitely an added bonus with dogs. We appreciated the ability to let our dogs out in the fenced in yard behind the yurt. The views of the stars at night are unlike anything we’ve seen before. We really appreciated the air conditioning unit as it was pretty hot and would have been hard to sleep without the cool air!A few things that made our stay a little less than five-stars: it definitely could use a deep clean every so often to wash off bugs swatted on the walls & cobwebs, as well as washing off the dirt on the patio furniture. It’s such a beautiful deck to lounge but we didn’t take advantage of it much since we weren’t in the mood to clean the seating. There was also a slight smell which could be the carpet or AC unit…I had to buy air freshener the 2nd day to try and mask it.Overall it was a great stay, it’s a great option if you’re in the area with pups!

Riverwalk Yurt is very clean and comfortable. The setting is beautiful and very relaxing. The hosts,Devon and George, couldn’t be nicer. Tom and I spent two wonderful weeks at the yurt. This was our second time staying at the yurt and we hope to be back again next year.
