The home was beautiful and very spacious. We loved the space and that the house was well equipped enough to host a Thanksgiving dinner for our big family. The hot tub was nice and I can only imagine how beautiful this property is in the summer when the pool is open. The air hockey and pool were huge hits with my completive family.We did have an issue with access to the home, the driveway was not ideal.Other small issues with the property were conveyed to the owner and they were quick to respond. Would recommend for a beautiful family get away.

Our stay at the treehouse was great The kids loved the pool Adults the hot tub. It was close to beaches and trails and not to far from city attractions in Victoria. The kitchen was the best equipped of any place we’ve stayed

Perfect spot for our family vacation - eight adults and two kids. House was spacious and very well appointed and the hosts were instantly responsive when we had questions. Loved having the pool to play in, and Metchosin is a lovely green part of the island convenient to many hikes and beaches. Property is up a hill - views are so pretty, but be prepared stairs.

The property was spacious, comfortable and clean. The kitchen was well equipped. Everything we needed was provided. Communication with the host was excellent. The steep narrow driveway was a bit challenging but apparently this is due for some revision. Our group of eleven had a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

It appears that the main concern was the expectation that the swimming pool would be available during your visit. As outlined in our property description, the pool is seasonal, unheated, and only available between June and September. Outside of this period, it is winterized and unavailable for use. Prior to your stay, we were happy to accommodate your date changes and also offered a significant discount to better suit your budget, which was accepted. Throughout your visit, we responded promptly to all questions and requests and even provided additional items beyond our listed amenities to help make your stay as comfortable as possible. Despite our best efforts, we understand that your experience still fell short of expectations, and for that we are sincerely sorry. We always encourage guests to carefully review the property description and reach out with any questions before booking so we can ensure the home is the right fit for their needs. Absolutely beautiful! It feels like you are living in the tree tops. Wonderful view. Great amenities - pool, hot tub, lots of stuff for the kids to do in the big basement level. Very clean, kitchen had everything you need to cook meals and a great table for all of us to eat at.

Great location to relax and from which to explore Victoria and southern Vancouver Island. Please note that the access to the property is a bit steep and can be challenging for some folks. However, we were able to drive up to the house to unload/load people & luggage.

Eight 70-somethings fit easily and happily into this lovely home. There are a lot of stairs and a steep driveway, so that’s something to consider if these are problems for you. The house is spacious, clean and very comfortable. The kitchen is well-stocked with housewares. There is ample seating, including a large dining room table. The two “living” spaces are well lit with big windows. The beds are comfortable. Outside is so beautiful! And there are several places to sit and relax. The surrounding woods give lovely privacy. Quiet and peaceful. A deer family passes through behind the house regularly. And, there is a wide variety of birds to listen to and enjoy.We found the location to be very convenient for all of the exploring we had planned. And, the hosts were very helpful and considerate without being intrusive. This group of seniors have traveled together for decades and we agree that this is our favorite spot yet.

Beautiful property. Easy location from Victoria. Home was well stocked with essentials in kitchen and games etc to keep us busy and having fun. The driveway is steep but once you are there and inside it doesn’t much matter. Clean and tidy. Pool lovely with mid morning sun through to late afternoon.

Wonderful Home Base!

This was the perfect house for our family vacation. Extremely clean, the kids loved the pool and the layout was wonderful- the kids downstairs and parents upstairs! Everyone had enough space to be comfortable and do what they enjoyed. There are a lot of stairs if you have mobility issues, however the view makes up for having to trek up them! Thank you for helping us with an amazing vacation.
