This cabin was everything that we had hoped it would be. The setting was fantastic and very beautiful. The cabin was extremely comfortable and cozy and very romantic. The creek off the back porch was a gem to enjoy. I would recommend this Cabin strongly. We will visit it again.

We are thrilled that you enjoyed yourselves. On behalf of the StayNantahala Team, Thank You and we look forward to welcoming you back before too long.
The cabin was rustic, as expected and desired. There was no propane for the grill and the tank that ran the gas fireplace seemed to be empty; or possibly the fireplace was not functioning. It's a great setting all in all.

Thank you for your review and we are glad that you enjoyed the cabin and its peaceful surroundings. I am sorry that you had issues with both the grill and fireplace and hope that you reported it to thru our monitored phone line to our staff. They would have been there to take care of both items immediately.

Great rest. Best sleep in a long time.
Took awhile to find but worth the effort. We plan to visit again in warmer months.
Property is neatly situated beside a brook/stream where we were able to con some small trout out from under a leaf cover to devour our simple bread balls. Amusing, I could have sworn they grew over night, non over 6 inches but provided the hubby and I with amusement in the evening while enjoying a glass of wine before wandering down to the firepit where we watched the flames dancing and heard the stream babbling. Left the property with misgivings and our only disappointment was that we originally saw that there was a wood burning fireplace but it had been converted to gas by the time of our stay. All in all we said we would stay here again.
The cabin was beautiful and well appointed. The property was well kept and maintained. The natural beauty was amazing. A lovely place to bring family together. Thank you

We are so glad that you enjoyed our Rushing Creek cabin. Thank you again for be so understanding when we asked to upgrade you to this cabin as the Creekside Hideaway cabin needed some roof and deckvwork-which has now been completed.
Just what we needed. This property was prefect for our parent getaway. Close to the lake and marina cafe. Beautiful area. Loved being close to the mountain stream and seeing the fireflies at night. Can't wait to bring the kids back next trip!

We had a great stay in this cabin. The cabin is clean but rustic with functional kitchen. The sounds of the stream are wonderful. Plenty of good hiking and things to do in the area.

A PEACE of Heaven
I've been home now for hours and STILL attempting to "come down" from my time at the cabin -Which, by the way, has been dubbed 'The Sacred Spot' 🙌🏾 Already looking forward to my next stay.
You won't come back down the mountain same!
This cabin was an accidental booking for us. However, we are always up for adventures. We made the best of it. Our kiddos definitely enjoyed the stay, although I believe it was more of a peaceful getaway from home. We definitely enjoyed the cabin life without phones.

We are so glad that you accidentally stumbled across our rustic cabin and enjoyed your getaway.
This cabin is a perfect example of the term "cabin in the woods". It is a true log cabin. It sits right on a creek bank. It is secluded but not isolated. We have stayed here twice and love getting off the grid and enjoying the beauty of God's creation.

We are so glad that you enjoyed your second stay at our cabin in the woods. Thank you and we hope you will be back before too long.
This cabin was perfect! Just the drive to it was mesmerizing. Very secluded, although you can see 1 neighbor from the back deck, but they were far enough away it didnt bother us. I loved having my coffee on the back deck every morning listening to the stream. The pictures online were very much accurate, and this place is a little piece of heaven. We had absolutely zero cell service, but we were warned of this by the online listing lol. It is nice that the cabin has a land line that I was able to give to my family for emergency purposes. Dont let the driveway description scare you, yes its steep, but totally doable as long as you dont lose momentum (we visited in summer). The host had everything ready for us, cabin clean, clean towels, left treats out, and even left the lights on for us. I would recommend finding this place in the day though, bc it is dark on those roads. There is a very bright flood light in the driveway though. Our GPS got us there just fine. The check out process is A+, you literally just put the key where it is supposed to go, that's it. Which we really appreciated bc it's enough to pack up and head back home. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay and would love to return!

Thank you so much for such a descriptive review! I am thrilled you had such a great honeymoon and we hope you will be back for your 1 year anniversary!
The cabin was nice and secluded but could use some updating ( appliances and counter tops, back sliding door, bathroom. There are cracks were pests can get in. We killed a copperhead snake in the house. It was up in the TV area.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. The cabin has been left rustic as we call it as there are quite a lot of people who look for a budget authentic style cabin. We have already taken measures into place to deter the pests and snakes. Sorry you had to deal with that.
This property is AMAZING...exactly as described!!! The creek that runs directly below the back deck was so soothing and peaceful, it was MORE than we expected and exactly what we needed .....to just disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We are already making plans to come back to this exact spot and stay longer next time. Thank you for and amazingly wonderful 3 days!!!!

I am so thrilled that you had such an amazing time! We look forward to welcoming you back.
This cabin is exactly what I picture when I hear “cabin in the woods”. It is a beautiful place to disconnect since there is no WiFi and no cell service. We found that mentally refreshing. One word of warning. Other than a futon which doubles as a sofa all sleeping quarters are up 15 steps. It might not be the best for those with knee issues or young children.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience and we are thrilled that you enjoyed the getaway from everyday lives. We hope that you will be back when you need to getaway again.
This little cabin was every bit as relaxing, private, and gorgeous as I hoped! It is absolutely a little piece of heaven. It does come with some hefty fees, but well worth it for the serenity it provides.

I am so glad that the cabin and the area exceeded your expectations. Please keep in mind that the security deposit is refunded back to your credit card 7 days after check out. The only other fee that we charge is the cleaning fee, which is standard for cabin rentals. We hope that you will be back when you are ready to relax and get away again.
