Good Beach view with amazing sunsets. Dishes in the Cabinets were dirty. Not able to access RVA on Facebook or the app. App is not available, therefore, communication with host was limited. Condo is dated!

The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. We visited this rental for the 4th year. The unit is well maintained and comfortable. Second floor unit is a great place to watch the Gulf on cooler days. The beach is less than 50 steps away and the beach is often not crowded. LBK has terrific restaurants to several within walking distance. Only suggestion is that the mattresses may need to be replaced because they sag a bit. We'll be back!!

We loved Beach Castle! We stayed in Unit 4 which has breathtaking views and amazing sunsets. The condo was very clean and well appointed. We spent some days lounging on the beach. One afternoon trip to Siesta Key, an evening trip to St. Armands Circle for shopping and dinner, and a very long bike ride to Anna Marie Island. Some evenings we relaxed in the heated pool and hot tub.. Longboat was never overcrowded and a perfect central location for us. Beach Castle is very nicely located with only a short walk to the Lazy Lobster and Tyler's Homemade Ice Cream. We will definitely be back!

We are highly disappointed that the Town of Longboat Key or whoever is rsponsible dropped the ball on that subject.

I am an artist so have come away with lots of inspiration to paint over the winter months. If you enjoy shelling there are plenty on the beach to pick and choose from. This property won’t disappoint, it is a peaceful, beautiful location. We did have one issue that eventually got rectified a bit unsettling at first, we could not lock our sliding doors. Even so the word that best describes Beach Castle is delightful — enjoy.

Beach Castle has always been our "go to", however, it is in need of some TLC and a thorough cleaning.Interior of unit was okay but garbage disposal & toaster didn't work. No room in kitchen cabinets for groceries. Patio and floors had to be scrubbed as they were filthy. We had similar issues with another unit last year. It wouldn't take much to step up the game.Exterior really needs a good power washing and hallways need cleaning and decent lighting.Pool area was wonderful. Clean and nicely furnished. The location can't be beat but needs to be respected and well maintained to justify the prices that are being charged.

Reviewer Comments: This was our 4th year at Beach Castle Resort and our 3rd year staying in condo #4. The view and location are fantastic, but #4 is worn out and needs freshening up. Dishes were grimy and we had to wash everything before using them. For the past three years, the same 3 vinyl placemats have been provided for use on the tables that seat 4. The linens are old and the furniture is stained. The screens in the lanai need cleaning. The whole place needs a deep cleaning and painting. And the price continues to increase. We have made reservations for next year at a cleaner, better-maintained, and less expensive property further down the beach.
