Our condo has everything you will need for a relaxing vacation on the beach.

The island of Longboat Key...
... is one of the most beautiful places in Florida. Longboat was voted the second most favored island in North America, according to a survey by a nationally recognized travel magazine. Daytime excursions are numerous, so that your holiday will never be without plenty of activity. Orlando and Tampa, with their fabulous theme parks are within easy reach, and the nearby parks offer the local flora and fauna, and numerous animal attractions such as flamingos and alligators. Shopping and restaurants of all varieties are nearby as well. Everything you need to make your vacation perfect is within reach.

Sand Cay Beach Resort...
... sits right in the middle of Longboat, and invites you to enjoy the beach, the park, and the newly renovated buildings. The resort garden looks beautiful. Beach furniture, grills, washing machines, WiFi and and more are free of charge for you. The friendly people at the office are gladly there to you.

Our condo...
... was entirely updated to include a kitchen with granite countertops and new appliances, beautiful new hardwood floors, new bathrooms, and painting and decor tastefully furnished in Caribbean style. The high quality equipment includes Bluetooth Bose radio, big 2022 Samsung smart TV and partially Villeroy & Boch kitchen accessories. The condo has direct views of the Gulf of Mexico as well as the open courtyard and pool. Our little piece of paradise faces to the south and brings in beautiful and ample light into the unit. At breakfast on the patio, with soft morning sun, you can hear the lap of the waves as you look out over the Gulf of Mexico. Watch pelicans and sometimes dolphins from the patio. It is gorgeous.

Nice getaway

Property was very nice and staff were friendly. Plenty of space inside for the 5 of us. Was nice to have some beach items to include umbrellas and chairs in the unit for use. Location is nice but traffic driving north is like a parking lot.

Gulf view retreat

This checked all of the boxes for a wonderful vacation retreat. The only thing we noticed is that the bedding and living room furniture could be updated. However, this did not affect our stay. We would definitely book this place again.

My family of 4 (kids 11 and 8) had an amazing time. The condo was as described with expected amenities. Perfect arrangement for family of 4 with twin beds in second bedroom. View of gulf from deck was lovely. Beach was not crowded and everyone loved!

Our first time staying on Longboat Key.The location was great not even to far from Anna Maria Island. Had nice gulf views.The property also offfered lounge chairs to sit on at the beach. The condo was decorated very nice and spacious. Would definintely consider staying in this condo again.

Lovely LBK

Lovely condo on LBK with views of the beach. The beach is literally yards from the condo. The condo itself is clean and has everything you need for your stay. The pool was great although they had to turn the heated water off as a combination of the heated water and the weather made it more like a hot tub! Would recommend this condo to anyone wanting to stay on LBK.

The living, dining, and kitchen area was open and bright with a balcony overlooking the gulf. The bathrooms are small but manageable. The second bedroom is very dark. The kitchen has everything you need and we enjoyed cooking in. Overall, the week was very plesant.

On the first night we had come back to our condo late from the beach to find our storm door lock was defective and had locked us out. (they only lock from the inside so it couldn't be our fault) We were told by maintenance to tear the screen in the corner to be able to open the door that night since it was late and the maintenance guy was 50 minutes away and wasn't coming without charging us $50.00. While I was on the phone with him my wife was still trying to jiggle the door to get it to open and the handle broke. That was all pretty frustrating but it could have happened anywhere it was just a freak accident. As long as we are not charged for the repair to the door handle / lock I'm good. The bathroom sink in the master bath is very clogged full of hair and would barely drain out. Also, one of the chairs on the patio is broken. You don't expect perfect but the above issues need to be addressed. Again, the property is very nice. The pool, beach and our condo were everything I could have asked for. What really ruined the rest of our vacation was the Red Tide that started hitting on Tuesday night. We had dead fish and other sea animals washed up all over our beach. It stunk and made the beach unusable the rest of the week. I was a little disappointed that nobody from Sand Cay resort was cleaning up the beach daily to at least make our beach everything it could be under the horrible circumstances.
