Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. This home is a B&B during the non-summer months but take advantage of renting the entire place for your family during the summer! 5 bedrooms, 5 1/2 baths and 7 beds will accommodate up to 12 people so everyone can spread out and have their own space. Massive deck overlooks Lake Michigan, the lighthouse, the pier and the beach. Directly across the street from the Grand Haven State Park beach which is free public access.

Spacious with Great views

We loved our stay here! With multiple families, each room having its own bathroom was a major plus. And the view was just as great as the pictures. Easy walk to the beach and close to town. We had a great trip!

Beautiful Spot in West Michigan

Views of Grand Haven, Lake Michigan and the pier were amazing!! Sunsets were spectacular!! Cottage is walking distance to everything. The designated parking was super helpful. We enjoyed the 79 steps up to cottage, but our elderly parents we’re grateful for the funicular, also helped with luggage and groceries. We enjoyed our stay!!!

Three generations

Our family filled all five bedrooms and had plenty of room inside and outside. Having a bathroom in each bedroom gave everyone privacy, no competing for showers! The young adults were able to walk downtown for live music and shops. Others relaxed on the huge deck overlooking the lake all week long. We had an amazing view of the sunset and loved having the beach right across the street. The home is well appointed with everything you could possibly need, from cooking oil to beach chairs! We absolutely loved this place and highly recommend it.

The property has been a traditional B&B since 1998. In 2023, we opened it up for whole house family rentals for the summer and are a traditional B&B for Apr/May/ June and Sept/ Oct. We are set up for each room to be its own room during the B&B season with its own private bath. Check out our 4.9/5.0 reviews of the B&B (Looking Glass Beachfront Inn) to hear about our property and happy guests. The whole house rental will NOT include breakfast.

Why they chose this property

Location, Location, Location! We have one of the best views in Grand Haven from our huge deck and from most of the rooms. The Grand Haven State Park Beach is directly across the street and the downtown area is a 1 mile which makes an easy walk or bike ride. Enjoy the beach and the the town from 1 Great location! The house is 79 steps up from the road though we do have a trolley/ funicular you can utilize. All 5 bedrooms are on the 2nd floor.
