Jay was a great host, meeting us as we arrived and even helping us bring our luggage up the steps to his place. The sunsets over Lake Michigan were spectacular from the deck! Jay stopped in to make sure we had what we needed on our second day and allowed us a late check out as well. We had everything we needed and hope to come again.

This property is high on a bluff with tons of steps. Very difficult for anyone with mobility issues. Jay was so very helpful with carrying luggage for us. The veiw was spectacular. The beach is 2 very long staircases and a acrossed the road from the cottage.

We loved our stay in Grand Haven. It was a classic home and a perfect family stay. The views were amazing and we loved grilling and enjoying the sunset. It took you back to a simpler time time and would highly recommend it for some peace, quiet, and a short walk to the beach.

Magical spot. Plenty of living room for a the people sleeping in the 5 bedrooms with Amazing sunset views. Historic cottage community that I have been fascinated by my whole life. I grew up in Grand Haven and have always loved Highland Park. Off season we local kids would play tennis and picnic on the boardwalks. Staying in one is a dream come true. Such a charming collection of cottages within walking distance of town. The beach is down a few (107) stairs with clean water and pristine soft sand. You get your stairs in for sure!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming cottage, which is over 100 years old! It provided plenty of room for our family and offered stunning views of Lake Michigan, including the Grand Haven lighthouse and breathtaking sunsets. We loved learning about the history of the cottage and the surrounding association, which added a special touch to our experience. Jay was an outstanding host, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We can’t wait to come back!

What an amazing place to stay!The cottage was cozy and so, so clean! The views of Lake Michigan were beautiful from inside the cottage as well as on the deck. The sunset lasted for a long time, and we enjoyed every bit of it!We walked to downtown each day for coffee in the morning and dinner in the evening. There are plenty of eateries. There is something for everyone.It was a short walk to the beach accessible by stairs and a street crossing.It was a pleasure to meet the owner! He was very accommodating and personable. We would not hesitate to recommend this location to anyone looking to stay in Grand Haven!The cottage had everything we were wanting in Grand Haven, and we hope to be back soon!

We absolutely loved our stay at Pair-a-dice! The view of Lake Michigan was amazing, especially the sunsets. We enjoyed coffee on the deck in the mornings and drinks in the evenings, The cottage was comfortable and clean while still having the historic charm of Highland Park.The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for cooking and feeding a large group with plenty of seating. We brought our own blender and spices. The location was fantastic — convenient to the beach and just a short distance from downtown Grand Haven. It made it easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer.Communication with our host, Jay, was prompt, friendly, and very accommodating throughout our stay.A couple of things future guests should know: there are 33 steps to get up to the cottage, so it could be challenging for anyone with mobility issues or when carrying luggage, groceries, beach chairs, and other items. Also, the trash and recycling area is a bit of a walk from the cottage. It would have been helpful to know the pickup schedule for both ahead of time so we could have planned accordingly.We had a wonderful week in Grand Haven and would happily return.

Amazing Grand Haven Cottage

We had a great time at the cottage. The back porch is beautiful and looks out right over the lake and pier- perfect for family dinner and sunsets. Cottage is great walking/biking location from beach. The owner checked in regularly and was available throughout our stay. Would definitely stay here again.

The view of the lake from this property was amazing. The old, cottage feel was charming and reminiscent of ages past. Our cottage was well stocked and very comfortable and very clean. I would definitely return here for future get aways. Our guest from Arizona was so impressed with the beauty and charm of staying so near to Lake Michigan. Thank you to our host, Jay!

Cute, quaint rustic summer cottage on a bluff overlooking the Lake. Great views, very responsive owner. Easy walk to the beach and all that Grand Haven has to offer.
