Welcome to Third Coast Cottage, your Lake Michigan waterfront retreat! This is a 3 level home with Lake Michigan views from nearly every room. Guests have access to the private beach to enjoy sunbathing, bonfires, and glorious sunsets. Sand dune hiking and more Lake Michigan views are located minutes from the home. We are also dog friendly!

Where you'll sleep: The top floor includes two bedrooms with spectacular views of Lake Michigan; one with a king bed, twin sized daybed and one with a queen bed. The third bedroom includes a bunk with trundle providing 3 single beds. Entry to the third bunk bedroom is located inside the primary bathroom. The primary bathroom is a spacious bathroom with a jacuzzi tub, separate shower, double sinks and water closet.
The first level includes a king bedroom with an ensuite full bathroom, and a queen bedroom with separate bathroom off the hallway.
The 6th bedroom is located on the main floor with a queen bed, spacious closet and bathroom off the hallway.

Living space: The main floor boasts an open floor plan with a wall of windows for you to soak in the views of Lake Michigan wherever you are. Enjoy a fully stocked kitchen, dining area for 8 and bar seating.
Our personal favorite, the sunroom, creates the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee or to listen to the delightful sounds of Lake Michigan. There is also a full sized sofa sleeper in the sunroom.
The home includes indoor and outdoor dining, multiple fire pits and a large composite deck with an extended viewing space offering panoramic views of the lake. The front of the home has an additional patio space with a gas and charcoal grill for all of your summer cooking necessities.
Walk out to your private beach to enjoy sunbathing, bonfires, and glorious sunsets. This beachfront home truly offers all you need for your private getaway.

Wonderful!

We enjoyed this property so much! The beds are very comfortable with high end linens. The furniture is not only comfortable but beautiful as well! Our grandkids loved the boogie boards and beach toys and our adult kids enjoyed the two paddle boards. The view of the lake is awesome and the beach is very walkable. These are just some of the things that made our vacation so wonderful. We highly recommend this property!

Best Beach Rental Ever!

The house was clean and comfortable with a well-stocked kitchen and luxurious towels and linens. The view was absolutely amazing, and the location was very convenient. The host was very welcoming and gracious, and she was very responsive to our needs. We highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Perfect Vacation Home

This house is the perfect place for a summer vacation. The view is amazing, with an easy walkout to the beach. The house is very comfortable and is well-stocked with the necessities, including beautiful, thick towels and sparkling water in the fridge. The host is very gracious and quick to respond! We had a great time with our family and can't wait to visit again!!

Beautiful home, priceless views

Home had everything you could imagine - we had fires on the deck, watched beautiful sunsets, shared meals and laughs. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with plenty of living space for us to spread out. So many bathrooms made things smooth when getting ready to explore the area. The beach was fabulous. Parking was the only slight complaint and we made it work.

Where do I start?!?! This house is beautiful, right on the beach with 2 fabulous decks looking over the water. We were 8 adults and 1 baby and this house had everything we needed….and then some! Fully stocked kitchen, towels, beach chairs, paddle boards, comfy beds and linens….you name it. Elizabeth was an outstanding communicator and was easy to keep in touch with.The welcome treats were just the beginning!

Paradise on Lake Michigan

We recently stayed at the property and it was absolutely perfect. The house, location, and communication are top-notch. The owner/manager have literally thought of everything you could possibly need and even added the special touch of labeling where items are for an easy find. We spent 4 nights at the house and absolutely did not want to leave. Everyone in my group was just gushing about how much we loved the property and want to make this a yearly experience. Communication before, during, and after was prompt and pleasant. The pictures are gorgeous, but I think the property itself is even more impressive. Perfect spot on the beach, easy to get into town.

Perfect Views

This particular property is a gem. The house is huge and accommodating (basically 3 floors so be aware you’ll need to use stairs). So many bedrooms and all the beds are so comfortable. Screened in porch was a favorite for our group and the best place for sunsets and morning coffee. Fully stocked with all your needs and hosts are quick to respond to any questions. Had a misunderstanding about pets but was totally my own fault and the situation was handled with grace. Oh, and for a winter stay I can’t forget to mention the cozy fireplace. Perfection!

Fantastic

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home! This home was well equipped for families. We had four adults and 8 children ranging from almost 2 to 14 years old. All of the kids had a great time and there were activities for every age range. This rental has plenty of child friendly games and beach toys. The older kids, teenagers and adults enjoyed the paddle boards and body boards. Lake Michigan was literally just steps away from a well maintained stairway. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed to make our own meals. We had plenty of silverware and plates and even found toddler silverware/sectioned plates and bowls. The house was very comfortable for our large group and we had excellent communication from our host. Thanks for a fantastic trip!

Perfect Week!

My family of 9 stayed for a week at this lovely property and we enjoyed every second of it. Actually none of us wanted to leave! The house is on an amazing part of the beach-big, wide, perfect soft sand. The house was super clean and well stocked with everything you would need. Tons of towels, plenty of beach toys for our grandchildren and chairs etc. I would maybe only suggest a few more serving platters and bowls but besides that, there was plenty of plates and glasses. It would also be so nice if the house had a few stand up paddle boards:) Elizabeth, the PM was unbelievably responsive and friendly. Truly very impressed with her! We will be back next year but for 2 weeks instead of one. It was that good! Thank you so much for everything!! 🌞🏖️

You can not beat the private beach setting on one of the most beautiful lakes in the country! Lots of neighbors flood back during summer months to enjoy the amazing beach walks, sunsets, and nature.

What makes this property unique

This home is truly one of a kind. The layout of the home allows guests to enjoy views from nearly every room. Easy access to the beach, lake, and miles of walking and views make this home a must visit on the lakeshore. I think the sunroom is a special spot were the views can be enjoyed no matter the weather or season. An added bonus is that the home is friendly to well behaved dogs which is a rarity amongst the short term rentals on this street.
