Poor Upkeep on Tampa Home
It was apparent that the house wasn’t thoroughly inspected prior to our rental. I shared these concerns to host in private text asking for response; none received. Pool screen torn in several places; notified host, never repaired. Pool dirty but on a weekly cleaning schedule. Screen doors had jury-rigged closures. Leaves on roof of screen. A loveseat in lanai was bent making sitting dangerous. One guest did sit on it and it collapsed, I turned the seat on its side. Headline is heated pool, but disclosure that it costs 25 a day was way down in description. All indoor furniture was low to ground and seen better days. Lack of ceiling fans (only one in living area; and it’s small. 2nd bathroom shower not functioning; notified host who knew about this prior to our stay and did not let me know. He offered to have handyman come by to fix, but our schedule didn’t allow it. 2nd bathroom had no sink stopper. Photo of primary bath shows a toilet paper holder; none there. Holes in walls behind towel bar. Blinds in two bedrooms facing street broken, privacy and security at risk. No garage door opener, can only access from inside garage, not driveway, despite a Liftmaster keypad on garage frame which should have been coded for guests to use. Holes in walls throughout house. Wheel of trash container missing. Photo of kitchen shows 4 chairs and a bench; only 3 chairs, one of which one of the legs doesn’t stay connected to frame.
