I've stayed at several OBX beach houses. Seas the Breeze is by FAR the best I've seen. The layout is perfect for a large group - we had 16 people distributed throughout it's 10 bedrooms. There are enough common areas that we could socialize when we wanted and yet still find a place for few minutes of peace and quiet somewhere in the house if we needed it.But what really makes this house stand out from every other OBX beach house are the furnishings, amenities, and conveniences. Air conditioning is a necessity for a summer in the Outer Banks. And that environment is really hard on HVAC equipment. Seas the Breeze has three separate industrial-quality HVAC units and a separate thermostat for each floor. Even when one of the children left a door open to the pool area, those massive air conditioners had no problem keeping the temperature and humidity down. The appliances are top of the line. TWO different laundry rooms on different floors, each with a modern, extra large washer and dryer. There were no problems with having to wait for your turn to wash clothes and dry towels. It isn't just laundry - there are kitches on two different floors as well, and each is well furnished. The top-level kitchen has appliances I'd love to see in my own kitchen. The attention to comfort, quality, and usability extends to the private pier, with an easy boarding slip for kayaks, canoes, and other personal watercraft. This is hands-down the best beach rental!
