Our stay at the Woodlands was wonderful! The condo isn't huge, but spacious enough and very clean and we had everything we needed. It's wonderful to stay at a place that offers (at least starter stuff) coffee, shampoo, soap, laundry items, etc. Not only that, there were those special extras such as plenty of spices, hooks for drying clothes and towels, nightlights (no one has ever provided these before and I always bring my own), and tons of DVDs and games. The outside areas (front porch and back deck) were lovely and furnished. Alicia was incredibly responsive to all communication and actually got us a new TV due to some issues we were having. The passes to Rumbling Bald were useful as well.This is a great place to stay for couples or small families. We'd definitely stay there again if ever back in the Lake Lure area.

Wedding visit

This was a perfect spot to stay while exploring, hiking and visiting with friends at a wedding. Very comfortable, quiet and we lived out on the porch in the trees.

Everything was excellent!

My father stays here when he comes to visit the grandkids. Very close to all things on the resort & super cute & comfortable villa. Excellent customer service from the owner. This will be his home away from home!

Spectacular!!!

This property was beautiful! All the pictures were a fantastic representation of the where you'll be staying. The views from the balcony were amazing! Every part of this property was bright and inviting! Alicia was a joy to communicate with too; she really went the extra mile to make this a fantastic stay!

Not a good value for the money. Issue with high humidity resulting in issue with comfortable temperature and musty smell.

We went to the property the night after reading your review to see what we could do about this issue. Luckily we quickly found that the issue was the dehumidifier in the unit was unplugged, and could not take the humidity out. We will make sure to take measures to ensure it stays running for future guests.
