Beautiful 2 bdrm condo, easy bike in/out, Community hot tubs, Steps to gondola/M

Come and enjoy this in town, two bedroom slope side condo. This spacious condo sleeps up to eight people, with new mattresses purchased in 2011 for the bedrooms, and a nice flat screen TV in the living area. This unit also has been repainted and updated for your needs with a fully equipped kitchen, complimentary Wi-Fi and contemporary furnishings. With extra bedding in the second bedroom, this is a great unit for families who want to make the best use of their space.

The Sawmill Creek complex provides one covered parking space, two indoor hot tubs and elevator access. Only 20 yards from the Four O’clock ski run, you can ski home at the end of the day. With shuttle stops right outside the complex, you can make your way to the Snowflake Lift in less than five minutes. Downtown Main Street is only a block away, and provides you with all the shopping and dining you can enjoy. For your convenience, all of our Sawmill Creek condos include access to our on-site operations office for maintenance questions/needs, supplies such as towels, or any other needs during your stay.

We provide a basic starter pack for guests, including travel-size toiletries, a limited supply of paper products, and laundry/dishwasher detergent.    This includes enough to get you through a day or two, depending on personal usage.  If you have a longer stay planned, you may wish to bring or purchase more.  Additionally, we do not supply coffee, spices, or other kitchen food items.

Perfect Location

This condo has easy access to everything. We walked almost everywhere from here, and if we ever didn't feel like walking, the bus stops were right outside the door. Ending your ski day on the four-o-clock run also puts you right at your door. The condo itself was spacious and clean.

Our family of 5 had a great time staying at this property. It was a short 5 min walk to the gondola and to the restaurants and shops on Main St. The only negative was that they had an electric heater in the spa room. Not very safe.

This condo was cozy and warm. Even when the temperature dropped below 10 degree, we don’t even have touched the thermostat. Check in is very quick. The location is walking distance to shopping/dining. The free shuttle busy pickup and drop off is next to the property. We ski back to the condo at

Overall, I'd give the property a 3.5. It was clean and fit the 6 of us comfortably, and it was a great location. The only downside I had with the property were the microwave didn't work, the shower doors did not slide (they are not hung properly), and the beds were just ok. That being said, I would stay here again and would recomend to frineds and family.

It’s not great. One of the toilets will not refill with water. The flapper is stuck. There are stains on the sheets in the bunk beds and stain on the couch. The carpet looks old and everything seems dirty. The glassware was not clean. The check in guy at the building was rude.

Positives: Greet location! Ski directly to stairs / elevator from 4 O’Clock run and only 1 block from Main Street in the heart of downtown. Very clean. Very nice newer bathrooms. Checkin /checkout was seamless and staff at Great Western Lodging was great. Less than awesome: Galley style kitchen is a bit of a challenge. We had only 4 people for most of our stay (planned on 7). It would have been very tricky to cook for 7. Electric stove had crooked burners, one was not working at all, another smoked when used. Kitchen towels were dingy and holey but adequate. Suggest a kitchen sponge with scrubber or dishrag at least. Very small TV. Only real complaint is the worn area of carpet between the family rm and kitchen had staples that could have been painful to step on. Should cover with a throw rug at least. All in all with the great location, nice baths and adequate kitchen, this is a great condo especially for those who are not planning to cook much and don’t care about TV. Cozy couches and fireplace. Nice ski locker just outside entrance.

This condo was amazing. Fully equipped with everything you may need. The office and maintenance staff were very accommodating and quick to respond. The location is walking distance to the Gondola and Shopping / Dining. The free shuttle drop off and pick up is next to the property. This is a ski in condo which made it even more convenient. The condo is fully stocked in kitchen, living room had cards and board games. The bedding was clean and very comfortable. I would for sure rent this condo again.

The property was very dated and not cleaned to our satisfaction when we checked in. We did not even shower in the condo for the 2 nights we were there. The first night we heard the people in the condo directly above us keeping us awake until 1am - just walking around but ceiling/floor is so thin, it kept us up til early morning. They began walking around again at 6:30am waking us up for the day. Bed was very uncomfortable too. The location was great but the condo was old and dated and not what we expected for the money spent.

Great place, great location

It was exactly what we wanted. Ski rentals across the street, main street shops down the road, the shuttle stop right outside, and could ski right to "home" at the end of the day. The only thing I remember wishing was having an additional large skillet so I could make hashbrowns and the eggs at the same time for our breakfasts. Otherwise, the kitchen was fully stocked.

So much fun!

We had an amazing trip overall. Our condo was nice and it was obvious the owner has made updates to light fixtures etc. The decor was nice & appropriate for a condo in CO. The downside for me was the firmness of the beds. However, everyone likes different sleeping styles. For a VRBO, I understand why a firm mattress is provided. Overall, I would stay here again & recommend it to others. Love how close is it to mainstreet!
