Just 1 hour from Washington DC, the 'Farmhouse at Dogwood Pond' property resides on 50 acres of land, and includes a large pond equipped for fishing. Our location is a swift 20 minutes to Harper's Ferry, historic downtown Leesburg, Waterford, and endless wineries, breweries, hiking and bike trails. The Purcellville Historic District is less than 10 minutes down the road, where you can enjoy several quality restaurants, vintage shopping, and enter the W&OD trail at the old Purcellville train station.

INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL

Ages 80 to 15 months old had a wonderful stay. The property is breath taking. The house is tastefully decorated and has all the amenities you might need while staying there. The host is very gracious and made sure our littlest member was safe (provided a baby gate), comfortable (high chair), and slept well (a beautiful brass crib). We enjoyed seeing the deer at sunset and sunrise and watching the fireflies come out each night. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend this rental.

Spacious property in serene setting, lots of space

The property itself was clean, well-appointed, in a great locale, and quiet (except the AC unit). Beds were comfortable, coffee was provided, and supplies/pans were available. All in all, a very nice house. Only 2 nits: 1) a few towels were a bit mildewy due to the relentless humidity; and 2) a conspicuous lack of Kleenex in the BRs. We did have multiple issues using the VRBO email system to communicate with the owner. Had to call CS.
