COME HAVE SOME FUN - RIGHT OUTSIDE THE DOOR! We’re in the middle of it all! Skiing, snowmobiling, hiking, sightseeing - whatever you’re looking for, it’s within reach of the Brookside Getaway.

Delightful, clean, fully climate-controlled private 3-bedroom/2-bath home, surrounded by trees beside a babbling brook. Relax in the living room with 50" flatscreen (although you might not even turn it on), open concept kitchen, sliding glass door open to exterior deck with gas grill.
The space
Deck (with gas grill) and babbling brook outline this wooded, mountain side property. 3 beds plus sectional sofa, 2 full baths and fully updated kitchen. This property has been built, maintained, and kept in the family for 50+ years.

Can comfortably sleep 6 adults and 2 children (three queen beds, 1 sectional sofa). Central AC and Heat. High speed internet, and a 50 inch TV in the living room, though we assume you might not even turn it on!

Newfound Lake is 15 minutes south; The White Mountain National Forest is 20 minutes north; Tenney Mountain Ski Area is 1/4 mi from the driveway. Rumney rocks is 15 minutes down the road. Plymouth, NH features Plymouth State University, and any amenity you need. Newly opened Market Basket, plus Walmart, Hannaford are <10 minutes away. Downtown features locally owned restaurants offering a variety of foods.

Waterville Valley is 30 minutes away, Cannon & Loon about 40 minutes and Bretton Woods 55 minutes away. In the other direction is Ragged Mountain in Danbury NH, a sizable family-oriented mountain with NH's first 6-pack detachable chair lift.

First of all, the house was just wonderful. We have rented a number of homes over the years, and this property is now high on the list. Beautiful home for weekend getaway or longer. Central to everything! Minutes from Newfound Lake. Close to downtown Plymouth shops and restaurants. Home was modern, extremely comfortable, clean with attention to every detail.

PSU graduation trip

Location & property were perfect for our trip. I only gave 4 stars for location for visitors that don’t have 4WD &/or high profile vehicles and for those not familiar with ski areas. (There are two ways to home and one is a very bumpy ski road). Perfect living room for family time. Great communication with owner. Would stay again.

Perfect place to stay for a weekend wedding we had in the area! Beautiful house and Marysia was very responsive! Definitely a nice property next to a babbling brook. Quiet place. The only downside is the road leading to her place is in terrible shape and risk of bottoming out your car is high.

Perfect homebase for a family getaway

My family + in-laws had a wonderful stay! We had plenty of space for our group of 6, including 2 young kids. Marysia was very responsive, which I so appreciated. We felt secluded, which was a nice change of pace, but were still not far from all that the surrounding area has to offer. We'd definitely stay at Brookside Getaway again!

New Hampshire for the holidays

We stayed for three nights, including Christmas Eve and Christmas Day/Night. The house is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We had everything we needed for our stay. Even though it was a holiday week, Marysia was very quick to respond to questions. We are five adults and were in the area to visit family and friends. We will definitely stay here again.

Great Property on the Mountain

Very well-maintained and updated mountain cabin with a great location. Beautiful views off the back deck of a boulder-strewn mountain creek. The decorating and amenities in all of the rooms were very nice. The Kitchen was well equipped, plenty of large TVs that we never turned on because we were either running around enjoying the area or sitting on the deck relaxing.
