Welcome to THE BIRDHOUSE at The Birdbath Bungalows. The Birdhouse is one of three sister bungalows located in a peaceful residential neighborhood in the heart of Ventura's quaint beachside community. A short drive to Ojai, Oxnard, Carpinteria, Summerland, Montecito, and Santa Barbara. Rent one, or all three Birdbath Bungalows depending on the size of your party. Each property is equipped with private gates that can be locked or opened to share the space.
Enjoy your stay in this beautifully styled 2 bedroom 1 bathroom home with a fully-equipped kitchen and serene garden space. Sip your morning espresso or evening cocktail on the front porch swing, in the back garden around the fire pit, or at the picnic table. Fully renovated in 2023, The Birdhouse Bungalow was curated with the highest quality and style in mind.
Guests have full access to their securely gated bungalow including a covered front porch with a swing, peaceful backyard equipped with a private fire pit, picnic table, and BBQ. Each bungalow offers two allotted off-street parking spaces.
Nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood, The Birdhouse Bungalow is a block away from coffee shops and corner markets. Centrally located within walking distance to the beach, breweries, cafes, Ventura fair grounds and the best of Main Street. The Birdhouse Bungalow has two allotted off-street parking spots conveniently located near the main entrance. Once you park your car you can ditch the keys and don your favorite walking shoes or flip flops because everything you could need is a short walk away.

One of the best vacation rentals we have experienced

As all the other reviewers have said, this property is extremely well-run and exactly as described. It's in a quiet neighborhood (the large apartment referenced in another review? No idea - there are small apartments all around, mixed in with the homes, but they are cute and clean and quiet) just a few blocks from everything in Ventura, including the beach. It's very well-stocked and extremely clean, completely privately fenced with cute outdoor seating and lighting, and really nice landscaping. Parked right outside our gate, and the host responded to texts immediately. The heat worked very well, beds were super comfy, and Ventura itself is a great place to spend a weekend. Would love to come back, and highly recommend!
