Loved This Place
So many things about this place to love, from the house, to the property, to the view. The house was perfect for our group. It has special extras like the s’more kit, the numerous small blankets to use for comfort in the house or drinking tea on the front porch in the morning looking at the mountain and the horseshoe game to play on the massive yard. We loved being able to walk on the trails on the property and having a fire at night. Another plus is it is located within a few miles from the entrance to Mount Rainier. I will definitely be coming back here again.

Very Nice
My husband and I stayed downstairs, and our son and his girl friend stayed upstairs. Our bed was really comfortable. We went to Mt. Rainier and played games and puzzles at night. The house was very clean and decorated with fun stuff. The owner was always responded quickly. We would come back again.

A Magical Stay
The property was just as I expected it to be and then some. The views of Mt. Rainier were spectacular and we loved walking down the trail to the river. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was ready for cooking, (not that I cooked!). There were s’more packages waiting for us, and plenty of wood for the fire pit. It was a wonderful place for us to escape the blistering Texas heat. Geri is a fantastic host.

Charming rental with an amazing mountain view
We wished we had more time to stay longer! We wanted something in a quiet and beautiful setting with mountain views, and this place delivered. We had views of Mt. Rainier from the living room and front porch that were priceless! The cabin had everything we needed, even a choice of grills! The owners are very attuned to guest needs, as even the littlest details were anticipated: toiletries and fancy soaps & lotions in the bathroom, a coffee/tea station in the loft, smores kits waiting in the kitchen, plenty of extra throw blankets & quilts for sitting in the living room or on the porch, a stockpile of toilet paper, and for dog owners, poop bags, poop scooper and ball launchers! The decor in the cabin added much personality and charm. The furniture was mid-century and with the macrame and owl and mushroom themes, it reminded us of growing up in the 70s and early 80s -- everywhere you looked, there was something unique. We also liked the massive map of the area that covered an entire wall; great wallpaper and helpful, too! Our favorite thing to do after a day of hiking and exploring was to sit on the front porch, admiring the mountain and listening to the birds. One afternoon, as the jays were making a commotion, a bobcat trotted across the clearing and disappeared into the trees! As a couple, the cabin had ample room, but it would work for families with kids (games & child gates) and is dog-friendly, with plenty of open yard space. We will definitely stay here again!

Short drive to Mt Rainier and all of its beauty. Relaxing on the deck this morning with a clear view of Mt Rainier. Excellent place for children and dogs.
