When entering you'll be greeted by an open kitchen / living space with vaulted ceilings and a wood burning stove. In this home you’ll find the main upstairs bedroom with king size bed & balcony, and lower bedroom with queen size bed. Home includes a delightful kitchen with all the cooking essentials, and multiple smart TV's where you can sign into all your favorite apps.

Parking available for 2 cars. The lake is a 7 minute walk or 2 minute drive from the home. Whether picnicking, paddle boarding, swimming or fishing, you’ll enjoy the peace and quiet of beautiful Putnam Valley. [Please note in order to use paddle boards you will need to transport them by car or walking.]

Hiking with my boys

Why they chose this property

Our home is located in a small neighborhood named Abele Park on Lake Oscawana. This beautiful, quiet neighborhood consists of a combination of year round residents and summer homes. As far back as the early 1900's this neighborhood consisted of hotels, casinos, social halls and speakeasies as it was a huge tourist attraction for locals and New York City residents (including Babe Ruth!). You can still see the un-occupied candy shop and gas station buildings down by the park.
