Thank you for your review! We’re glad you enjoyed everything about your stay. Just to clarify, our listing doesn’t include a hot tub, but we’re happy to hear that everything else met your expectations. We’d love to welcome you back anytime!
My families stay here was less than satisfactory due to a few major issues. First of all the fridge had a very strong fishy odor, which made it unuseable and even opening the fridge a couple times left the house smelling very fowl throughout our stay. The back door is unsealed at the bottom which allows a large amount of cold air constantly flowing through the house. This made it impossible to regulate the heat at night leading to a poor sleep for the whole family. Sewage smell coming from the bathroom was also very strong upon arrival and we were forced to keep the bathroom door closed at all times. These factors led to an unpleasant stay. **Following our stay, we contacted the host with our concerns Hoping for some compensation. Compensation was offered as a future discount upon our next day. However, we will not be staying at this location again..

Beds were comfortable.

Thanks for staying with us and hope see you soon again 😊
The property is in a lovely neighborhood. We stayed for 2 nights and it worked fine. There’s a bus nearby that takes you right downtown. Quiet at night.
It was areally nice, clean a little warm but they supplied fans which was great. Note if they added screen doors it would be great so the bugs wouldn't get in. But over all place was great and centrally located too which was awesome
This location worked ok for me. The living room with dining table felt too crowded. It is much more urban than I am used to and I wished the light by bed would have worked, wished there would have been window coverings in kitchen that blocked view from neighbors. The bathroom tub and shower area was not as clean as I would have liked. I chose not to cook there for several reasons but the neighborhood grew on me. I liked the next door neighbor I chatted with, and it was nice to come home to adequate space after a day of sightseeing. It truly was ok but I was a bit disappointed. I was happy it was so close to the Bloedel Conservatory and Van Dussen Botanical Gardens. I would be willing to stay here again especially if it is just me.
Clean and basic, but met our needs. Unkempt front yard was initially off-putting. Outside deck was lovely but no hot tub as advertised. Was going to use the barbecue but the racks were rusty and dirty so did not use. AC is portable unit so quite noisy. Oven mitts or potholders would have been helpful in kitchen! We were a family of 5 (1 toddler) but wouldn't recommend for 6 adults...quite small. Great shady street parking accomodated both our vehicles. Quiet, peaceful neighbourhood a half hour drive from family tourist attractions. Overall, good value for a short stay.
Property was clean, well stocked on beddings, bathroom and laundry essentials, and kitchen supplies. Nice and quiet neighbourhood, about 5-min. drive to the places we want to go, and walking distance to several parks, which was great because we have our dog with us. Nice view of the city from the backyard. We stayed for a little over a week and got the chance to have a chat with the neighbors, and they were all really nice. Host replies to my inquiries promptly. We will definitely stay here again on our next vacation.

Thanks for your kind review, I hope see you soon again
When we first walked in the place had a really strong urine Oder, once we turned the heat up and was there a while it got better.
The place definitely could have been cleaned better and if he could have let us know that we had to make the bed as there was not fitted sheet on it would have been nice, he should also let renters know where to find the extra blankets and pillows. Over all it was close to all the stores, the neighbor hood was quiet and for the most part the house had what you needed for your stay.

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness
There was a backed up water main that was repaired before we checked in. The house stunk like sewer so bad that we had to put towels over the floor return vents and purchased air fresheners to put up everywhere. Windows did not open up when it was hot. The host was easy to deal with except my son left a necklace there and was told they don't have anyone to mail it and I could arrange a pick up. I live 8 hours away, kind of crap that she won't send it.
