The Moko Jumbie house, which once stood as the Danish Armory, boasts characteristics of early nineteenth-century residential buildings of Christiansted. This historic property is over 200 years old and has been restored with much love and care as a 4 unit building. The added interest is in the placement on the stepped site and the double curved grand stairway leading to a masonry bay centered against the front gallery. The original yellow Danish bricks throughout the exterior have been preserved and allocated with great attention to detail, providing a truly unique experience. The floors are original old pine, restored thanks to many months of work preserving their impressive longevity.
