The location is great! The home sits right along the river with great access to kayak and swim. We had a blast kayaking and floating in the river. Beautiful area. The home is lovely. Perfect for all of our party. Great set up for board games inside. Fire, s'mores and relaxing outside along the river was nice too. Great location for enjoying the river and surrounding area. Great communication, easy checkin. Highly recommend!
Bring your own cleaning supplies and a clothes pin for your nose! Terrible, musty stench which we couldn't air out as more than half of the windows didn't have screens! Active spider webs (including live spiders) in EVERY corner. One spider dropped down on my arm standing under the canister light in the kitchen (see pics). No central air; listing is false! Only 1 small, window A/C unit on the 2nd floor master bedroom that can barely keep up. Driving to the house was sketchy; past several boarded up houses, leaving 3 women feeling unsafe. Showers upstairs & downstairs were grimy. Toilets had hair & urine from the last guest (see pics). Main floor had dead bugs & hair around base boards (see pics). This is an honest review!

Thank you for your feedback. The property does have central air and heat. I have a window unit in the master bedroom as back up. Sorry your experience did not meet your expectations!
The house was very clean and comfortable and there were a lot of little touches that made us feel welcome. Water, some candy and a personal note. Definitely would rent again in the summer !!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at this house. The house was very clean and stocked with essentials. It felt very private and the family loved the hot tub!
We would definitely rent this house again.
Such a nice peaceful and relaxing time. Rented the house for a fishing weekend with friends and couldn't have had a better time. Would love to come back and visit again in the future.
This house is nicely situated on the Juniata River. It has wonderful fishing opportunities, with a landing right on the river. It is a nice house that is very comfortable. There is a wonderful restaurant - Jean Bonnet Tavern- nearby Excellent food and service. We had a wonderful stay here.
We love this place, 4th time staying and more to come. There are several options of places to relax with true sounds of nature. As the title says, Peaceful.
We had a wonderful stay. There were kayaks, hot tub, all there to use on the river. The bedrooms were very nice. We enjoyed the environment. The fall leaves were gorgeous.
What a gem!
This is an adorable little house on the river. The fishing was good, the weather was great. The host was responsive and helpful.

Thanks for choosing to stay at the Riverfront Cottage!
Really enjoyed this house. Great front deck and nice hot tub around the back. Lots to do in the area. Perfect kitchen table to sit around and play games. Only wish we could've stayed longer than three nights to spend more time on the deck.
