Everything about our stay was wonderful from the check-in to check-out we enjoyed every minute. The host was responsive to the few questions I had and having a crew there to transport us to and from the parking garage was convenient. The space was perfect for 2 couples with plenty of common areas to sit an relax. The coffee was an added bonus and was delish! Will definitely stay again.

Property was spotless and the crew managing the business were extremely helpful. Spacious and inviting unit. Wondered if it would be helpful to have an awning of some kind to block rain from the furniture outside. Well after the rain, it was still a bit wet to sit outside and enjoy the weather. Peaceful, but units are close and it did not appear to be fully booked. As units are added, it will become a busy village with less open water view. Truly enjoyed our visit.

Our stay was wonderful! The accommodations were first class. The appliances, kitchenware and furnishings were all high end. Evening dinner on the back deck was tranquil. Bed rooms were surprisingly spacious. We are already locking in dates for our anniversary.

Spring break

The experience was amazing and the location could not have been any better. It was very quiet while we were there since it was off-season. Which we thoroughly enjoyed. We had one night with intense winds and rain, which was awesome! Laying in bed at night, listening to the rain And having a slight rocking Was just what we needed. I highly recommend this place for a visit!

Perfect coastal getaway:

If you're looking for a dreamy place to stay right on the Cape Fear River, look no further. We hosted a birthday on the boat, and enjoyed a peaceful night's stay, which Marcia ensured went as smoothly as possible! She was wonderful to work alongside in making this weekend getaway happen. The space was even more magical than the photos lead on, everything was beyond perfect. Cannot recommend this space for your Wilmington stay enough!!! So grateful for the team at The Cove for making this dream weekend come true!

Surfaces not cleaned well. Floors need to be mopped. Outside upstairs was not clean food on fllor and tops of things

Houseboat Heaven

Throughly enjoyed our stay at this property. We only wish we would have had another day or two to relax and take in the peaceful calm of sitting on the upper deck patio. The beds were comfy, the kitchen well equipped, and the furnishings cute and nicely done. We were two couples traveling and it was the perfect blend of togetherness and privacy. The small details of amenities and organized personal (and kitchen) products under the sinks was very nice. Towels and bedding were not the cheap scratchy type. Our only small issue was that the downstairs bedroom ceiling fan starts making a loud clunking noise after it’s been on for 10 min or so. We would definitely return and appreciated the opportunity to stay! Thank you.
