On the terrace level there is another bedroom with two full beds and a twin bed. There is a queen bed in an semi private area that is adjacent to the full bath in addition there is a queen futon in the den downstairs. There are 3 Smart TVs, a fully equipped kitchen, and a spacious outdoor area with breathtaking views, this cabin offers comfort, convenience, and on-site entertainment galore. Spend your time boating on Lake Chatuge, hiking Bell Mountain, or sipping vino at Hightower Creek. Great Thanksgiving Cabin

We loved the location, as it was not too far from town (groceries, food, brewery), great hiking spots, & Helen too! Cabin was very well stocked, very comfortable, and it was just as it was described in the listing. The views are beautiful, and would recommend to friends & family. Great location, great cabin, especially for families.

Childhood Friends Reunion

We are a group of ladies in our late seventies, who grew up together and have been getting together once a year since 1997. This house exceeded our expectations, in that it had everything we needed and a beautiful mountain view as well! The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, attractive decor, ample parking, well kept grounds, and the house was immaculate! We hope to return to this house next year!

Relaxing last minute trip

This house and location is fantastic! Very clean and well-cared for, comfortable beds, top-notch linens and towels, good water pressure, the best stocked kitchen we have ever stayed at, and all the main necessities you could ever want. The screened porch and deck out back were our favorites for drinking morning coffee while listening to the wind in the pines and the birds singing. We even saw a hummingbird a few days. There was a helpful binder with directions for everything in the home and advice on nearby restaurants and and things to do, along with a map of area attractions and plenty of brochures. Communication with the host was quick and excellent. This was a last minute spring break trip, as our original trip got cancelled due to horrible storms and cancelled flights. We were so glad in the end that our original plans did not work out. If you want a house that is within 15-30 minutes of everything you could ever want, but far away from the noise and crowds, this is it! We loved the house and area so much we are planning a future trip in the next year to 1 1/2 years.

Lovely stay

We had a wonderful time at Hiawassee haven! Beds and living room were comfortable, we enjoyed the ping pong and hot tub. Beautiful view as well from the back porch. We’d love to come back sometime!
