Classic Nova Scotia oceanfront experience in renovated century home

Quintessential Nova Scotia oceanfront property with private beach for swimming and kayaking, set in a quiet cove on a dead end road. Possibly the most relaxing place you'll ever experience! Friendly neighbours on one side, ocean and unbuilt land on the other for the best combo of privacy and community. Deep water anchor in the cove plus a private boathouse with one double and one single kayak. More kayaks (and guides) are available within a few minutes walk up the road. The Century + house has been beautifully and fully renovated.
Located within a few minutes drive to the LaHave Bakery, The Ploughman's Lunch, Crescent and Rissers beaches, and the LaHave ferry.
This is my year-round home and is rarely rented out. NOTE a cat lives here, indoor/outdoor, no litter, affectionate - he can be re-housed for your stay but if you're allergic to cats this will not be the place for you.

Beautiful property, great view overlooking the ocean and ideal location with proximity to numerous beaches and amenities. The host was an excellent communicator and very gracious. We hope to make it back there again in the future.

It was the best part of our trip. Stayed 5 days. Nature all around. Sitting on the patio in the morning and evening was perfect beginning and end to each day. Bedrooms were spacious and beds were very comfortable. Enjoyed cooking a few meals in well appointed kitchen; played games at dining table and enjoyed each others company. The home owner met us at the door to show us around - couldn’t have been more accommodating. Free ferry to and from Lunnenburg all day. Great location for day trips around NS. Can't go wrong with this home. Our best VRBO experience yet.
