This was the best vrbo! Perfect size and had everything we could have wanted. We so appreciated the thoughtfulness of the host to put a few things in the fridge for us. Location was ideal for exploring the Gorge and for driving into downtown Portland. Not to mention the TRAIN was so whimsical.

So many amazing and sweet little details. Great communication, they definitely go above and beyond. Very comfortable stay. My favorite part was the porch. They were still here in area. I could sit with it. Raining stay dry, which is my happy place.

The little red caboose was an amazing place to stay with relaxing atmosphere. It had all the amenities and more. The freshly made chocolate chip cookies were a great touch. We were extremely happy with our stay here and will be back next time we visit Oregon.

This is a wonderful place. Quiet, comfortable and clean. 15 year old girls loved the upstairs nook. Host was super friendly and left treats and a note upon our arrival. Would stay again.

We absolutely loved our stay in this charming little red caboose! It has been so thoughtfully refurbished into a cozy vacation rental, complete with a small kitchen and bathroom—and the cupola was such a fun and unique sleeping spot for our daughter, Katelyn.We happened to stay during probably one of the hottest weeks of the year in Troutdale, but the little air-conditioning unit did a surprisingly good job of keeping the caboose comfortable. One of our favorite things was the porch built right off the caboose. The views were absolutely beautiful and bucolic—it was such a peaceful place to sit and enjoy the surroundings as well as use the outdoor grill for our dinner one of the nights. Jennifer and Phil were wonderful hosts. We especially appreciated the simple, healthy and thoughtful breakfast foods they left for our four-day stay.Communication was great, Jennifer and Phil were friendly and helpful, and the caboose itself was such a fun and memorable place to stay. We were there Wednesday through Sunday and truly loved our time there. We would absolutely stay again!

We loved our stay in the Red Caboose! It is the perfect size for two of us and everything is very clean and nicely maintained. The property absolutely could not be more beautiful and we enjoyed sitting on the nice covered deck every day and looking over the hills. They have the cutest little farmstand with delicious organic pears and grapes and more from their orchard, too! We will definitely be back again to stay!

Amazing vacation

We loved everything about the location and the caboose. The property was gorgeous and we got to feed the horses. The views are amazing. Jennifer and Phil were the best hosts ever.

cozy stay in a gorgeous setting

We loved our stay in the red caboose! It was the perfect amount of space for the 2 of us, especially with the lovely attached deck and outside space. Everything was well thought out with lots of cleverly designed touches to make the space very functional and comfortable. The property and surrounding area are so absolutely stunning! We hope to be back to stay again!

Great little spot in the PNW

Very cute spot with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Easy to access and simple instructions, a unique interior with a very cool exterior. Host was easy to communicate with, left some home grown fruit in the kitchen as well.

A piece of paradise in the PNW

I stayed here with my family and we had an amazing time. The hosts were really helpful and accommodating and the property was absolutely stunning! They had cornhole and other games for evening fun before we hung out around the campfire. I am definitely going to book this property again.
