Come be in the heart of the Brainerd Nisswa area. Everything is nearby but you won't be able to tell with the 3 acres of woods and Private Sand Beach Protected on both sides. The sunsets are Amazing with the property facing to the west. The property is all flat all the way to the beach and we are lakefront with nothing blocking the view. There is a beach house right next to the lake with full access to the paddle board, Kayak, beach toys. Lake Edward is a 2600 acre lake which is very clean, sand bottom throughout. We just finished a Game room where you will find a Pool table, Foosball, Arcade Games,Card Table. The fishing is very good with a variety of types of fish. We have added a separate game room which is ideal for keeping the noise down and having space when the weather is not cooperating. There is a resort on the lake where you can get gas and snacks, etc. There is a pontoon available for rent that you see in the pictures. In the winter there is a snowmobile trail right out front of the house. We have a 8 person jacuzzi hot tub available except in summer months. Enjoy your stay at our paradise!!

The house was very roomy and we were able to fit all of our guests easily. There were great spaces for hanging out and large areas to enjoy meals together. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and the process for checking in and out was smooth. We really enjoyed our time at this property and all the amenities they had to offer!

The property was great, despite the extra snow we weren’t expecting, we made the most of the sauna, jacuzzi, and game room. Beds were more than comfortable, most said best sleep ever. We would definitely recommend to our friends and families. Thanks so much!

Everything was awesome but I was surprised that the "game room" was a separate building without a bathroom. Maybe I missed that in the listing but everything worked out awesome. What an amazing property. 12 adults for a long weekend - we had a blast!
My family enjoyed this place so much! Mark was quick to answer questions very fast. The hot tub and game room were a hit for sure. Coffee bar was great too. Large enough space ALL around for us.Thanks Mark and Andrea for for the memories!

It was an easy check-in and check-out experience, communication was simple and prompt, there were plenty of lake toys for adults and children. It was a lovely stay, thank you!
The perfect weekend getaway. We enjoyed the quiet solitude of the location. This cabin has all the amenities a person could wish for, sauna, hot tub, lake, fireplace, games, a fully stocked kitchen, and comfortable beds. Thank you for sharing this cabin oasis with us.
We enjoyed many aspects of the property. The location is excellent, and the main living area has a great open feel. Our family loved the amazing deck views, comfortable beds, and a fantastic dock setup. The fire pit, games, and amazing coffee station added to our stay. A large supply of beach towels was provided, and the house is well-stocked with everything needed. However, given the premium price and deep cleaning fee paid, we experienced several issues that impacted our comfort, starting with a tough start when the home wasn't ready at our 4 PM check-in due to a cleaning delay. The home needs a deeper clean; two bathrooms had enough leftover hair and dirt that we avoided using them, and I ended up scrubbing a bathtub myself so my family had a clean place to shower. Additionally, the basement had a strong wet, musty smell. Even while waiting for the place to be cleaned, we found dead centipedes, ants, and other bugs throughout the house and game room. Finally, the interior and exterior show more wear and tear than online photos reflect. The lake water is clear, but bulrushes are invading the swimming area by the beach and don't match the listing, and the sandy beach area does not extend to the water as it appeared. The overall discomfort of these conditions caused us to leave a night early. We were disheartened by these discrepancies given the high cost, and expected a cleaner, more inviting setup for our holiday stay over the Fourth of July.

Thank you for recognizing the positive aspects of our property. Considering the many positive features you mentioned, we were surprised and disappointed by the 4/10 rating. We would also like to address and clarify a few of the concerns raised in your review.
We sincerely apologize for the approximately 20 minute check-in delay. July 3 was an exceptionally busy turnover day, and a few additional minutes were needed to finish preparing the home for the holiday weekend. To make up for the inconvenience, Mark made the hot tub available for your stay. Normally, it is closed for the summer.
The cabin is in a wooded lakeside setting, so an occasional insect can find its way inside despite regular cleaning. We also hire a professional pest-control company to treat the exterior of the home as a preventive measure.
We would also like to clarify that one of the bathrooms referenced was not advertised as part of the rental. The discoloration you scrubbed in the bathtub was permanent rust staining, not dirt or an unclean surface, which Mark also explained to you.
Mark communicated with you during your stay and asked you to contact him with any questions or concerns. None of these cleanliness concerns were reported, so we were not given an opportunity to inspect or address them.
As Mark discussed with you after checkout, two of our 50-pound Adirondack chairs were found about 100 feet out in the lake, and a cornhole bag was left on the roof. We had to pay our cleaners additional fees to enter the water to retrieve the chairs and use a ladder to recover the bag from the roof.
Lastly, shoreline vegetation naturally changes throughout the summer. The removal of bulrushes is regulated by the Minnesota DNR and requires a permit, so we cannot simply remove them at will. We take the care of our home and our guests’ experiences seriously, and we wish these concerns had been shared during your stay so we could have investigated and addressed them promptly.

We had an excellent stay! The house is spacious with very comfortable beds and awesome outdoor space. The sauna and hot tub were an extra treat! Would definitely stay again.
The property was perfect for our large group. It had everything we could ask for and more. The game room being separate from the house was extremely helpful for having a quite house for the kids to sleep.
The best part of this trip is our host . Mark is excellent . I ve never come across such a helpful and supportive host in Vrbo . He helped us through the snow storm and let us stay longer than booking ..He helped our grp a lot . Home is very clean and well kept . There were so many playing stuff for kids too .. very nice view of lake . Over all a very good stay .
My family and I loved the time we spent at this location. There was so much to do either at the location or nearby there was little need to venture far, thanks for the wonderful stay.
Great setup for family gatherings, with tons of seating at tables and games for everyone. The open floor design lets groups be together without feeling on top of each other. Definitely recommend.
My group had a great time staying here. The house is awesome, fully stocked, and very clean! Mark and Andria were very responsive to any questions I had as well.
Everything about our stay exceeded expectations. The owners were great to work with and the house, the game room, the boat the fire pit the were great. I highly recommend this property.
Property was great. We enjoyed the games and activities. Each bedroom has a king bed which was wonderful! Host was very helpful answering any questions. Would definitely stay again!!
