Perfect property for our short beach getaway with family. The property was ideally located less than 100 steps from the beach. With small children in tow, we didn't have to battle beach parking, and we could easily go back and forth to the property when needed. It was well appointed with several beach toys, cookware, towels, etc. Overall, a 10/10 stay, and we would book again.

Absolutely loved everything about the property as well as the location. The boardwalk was so convenient to travel for food and drink as well as being less than a block from the beach.

Good location, house looks like pictures. Could use some upper deck furniture for sitting and dining

Place is nice. Well kept. Well stocked. Property management is very responsive to any issues. Bottom deck is a little tight with all vegetation but if you like privacy it’s very good. Upper deck is awesome but need a small high top table and chairs so you can enjoy the view. The lounge chairs are really not something I can think are very usable.

Wonderful house

My family and I had a wonderful time at this property! Not only is it a great location but it had all the amenities to make this property close to perfect. It had beach chairs, beach towels, beach games plus all the showers had body wash, Shampoo and conditioner. Perfect addition to a perfect vacation, thank you!

Perfect location

The location was perfect. Easy walk to restaurants and coffee shops. Less than a minute walk to the boardwalk and beach. The home provides beach, chairs and umbrellas and towels for the beach during your stay. We also used the rollerblades and beach bikes provided. There are three bedrooms. One bedroom has Four beds. This is where we had all the kids sleep. The home was clean and well organized. We did use the barbecue. The walk is 20 minutes to Belmont Park.

Summer vacation

The property was in a great location. Everything was as indicated in the house. We had 6 people and there plenty of room. Plenty of beach chairs and towels. Also had a couple boogie boards. Only thing we asked for was more wash clothes.

Perfect location!

Great house - loved the open living/kitchen/dining area. Easy for 9 of us to gather. Unbeatable location very near the beach but off the boardwalk. Clean, reasonably well supplied living with just enough beach funk to feel comfortable and relaxed. Management company was surprisingly responsive and helpful. Consistently heard back from them within minutes of a question. Highly recommend on all levels.

Over all experience was good, there was one thing that was puzzling. One day upon returning to the place a lady was there trying to put in a new tv. She was at the wrong location not sure how she gained access. The 2nd floor balcony was nice and the Christmas lights were fun.

Location is perfect almost center between mission beach and Pacific beach. It is far away enough from the crowded beach but close enough walk to all the excitement. Beautiful views from the balconies. Home layout was a little awkward but workable. Each level has a bathroom which was definitely a plus. The home has pretty much everything you need for a beach getaway including beach chairs, shades, kids sand toys, beach towels. The cleaning fee was steep for what you get, the home was not dirty but could definitely get a deep cleaning.

Our stay in SD was fabulous. The home was exactly true to the reviews we read on line. Having 3 floors with a bathroom on each floor was awesome for our extended family. Being 3 houses from the beach is amazing! The furniture in the living room is very uncomfortable and is not indoor furniture! The carpet on the stairs is gross, the rest of the home is fabulous. The floors are great, the beds are comfortable and the kitchen is big and functional. The Management team is easy to work with and made sure we had every thing we needed. We had a wonderful time and hope to visit again soon.

Loved our stay and the home is wonderful!

The home is bright and cheery with a wonderful homey feel. It actually looked like the pictures which does not always happen. The size and layout were perfect for our group of 5 adults and 2 kids. Loved the no bedspread, sheet covered top on all the beds, like they do in hotels. That is one of the reasons I chose this home! The beds were very comfortable. Also liked that the only carpet was on the stairs. The location was literally a 2 minute walk to the beach! Also close to some wonderful restaurants. I would very much suggest Olive's for breakfast, and World Famous for dinner, both just a short walk away. Having a two car garage for parking was great as parking spots in Mission Beach are hard to find. I would not bring a huge SUV but it worked great for two medium sized vehicles. The only suggestion we had was putting some kind of hanging rack for clothes with a shoe shelf in the lower level bedroom as there is no closet. Amazon has a wonderful one, Raybee, with shelves and hanging. It could use a few more beach chairs, but there were ample beach towels. We would definitely rent this one again!

Great Beach House

Overall was a beautiful, spacious, well cleaned home! Have rented several houses on VRBO and this by far was the cleanest house yet! Super close to the beach, we were able to walk back and forth from the beach and the house to use the restrooms or pick up forgotten items! Very quiet neighborhood! We were able to fit a Nissan Murano and Nissan Rogue sport in the garage no problem! Our stay was mainly for a sports tournament held in Escondido CA, but for those family members that stayed behind, they had so many stores, restaurants, and activity places available to pass the time! Only complaint is that we saw two spiders in the down stairs bedroom (which is understandable since it’s ground level) and one in the living room by the couch! Thankfully no one got bit and turned into Spider-Man but definitely recommend a good pest control spray. Other than that everything else was perfect !! Thank you! Would definitely recommend this house to everyone and anyone staying in mission beach, pacific beach San Diego! To the owners, thank you again for such a beautiful home , giving us a wonderful family experience!

Great Mission Beach

I have owned and rented in mission over a 25 year span so I know a good rental/hosts! This a great place for your family for a Mission Beach/Bay stay! A rare find-Mission house with 2car garage! It fit our two mini SUVs. Kitchen was perfectly equipped so you can save on eating out. The can opener was broken and they quickly brought us a new one. 🙌 Beds were fantastic! Furnishings clean and very comfortable! It may be noted and I missed it but the downstairs bedroom doesn’t have a closet. We used bathroom cabinets/drawers and towel racks to hang clothes. It’s a very large room so there is space for your bags. Maybe a few luggage racks would be helpful? They also brought a new beach chair to replace a broken one. Sometimes things get broken from the last guests but don't get reported. They were quick to replace! The neighborhood is quiet so if you want a party house, this isn’t it. It was peaceful even over the crazy 4th of July week! We will rent this one again!

I stayed with my family of 5 for the last week, many small to medium things added up to a lot of disappointment. Let’s me start with the good, cool area, very close to the beach, the bathrooms and kitchen in this house are amazing. Very well done and plenty of space in all. There is not one comfortable seat in the whole place. All the wicker furniture and even the exterior chairs are extremely uncomfortable. There is only one realistically usable television in the house. If you or your family like tv after a long day at the parks do not choose this house, the beds are not comfortable, the 1st floor door knob is odd and does not have a dead bolt, my 11yr old did not feel safe sleeping in the first floor especially given all the street traffic in the area and homeless people, we were constantly hot, we opened up the windows and the spring breakers walking down the alleys until 2:00 am kept us up, close them and we sweated all night. The website says construction. In all actuality there was massive road construction with large jackhammers and trucks starting every morning at 7:00-8:00 am drilling up the concrete less than 25 yards away. The profile states 2 car garage but unless you have two mini coopers and climb out the sunroof, no way they are fitting, There is a phone or power line hanging on the side of the building. The management company was good, we called them on the first day to express our concerns and they did not have any other houses but they sent over some gift certificates and offered to send anything that we may need. All in all would highly not recommend for families with younger kids. With a small investment in good seating and beds this could be cute for couples or weekenders.

Very nice house close to the beach. Very quiet but close to the beach. Lots of room with many beds. Can sleep 9 people. Garage could easily fit a 2013 Highlander. Perfect house to relax!

Highly recommend!

I highly recommend 723 Windemere. The house was so close to beach, you can see, feel and hear the ocean from the second floor balcony. Quiet, peaceful neighborhood. VERY well stocked kitchen. Everything we needed for 8 people. My only complaints would be difficult parking. Garage was plenty wide, but not deep enough. Hard to fit a mini van. Also hard to control the temperature throughout the house. Third floor was very hot and we were not allowed to open those windows. Bedroom in basement was very cold, we had to use space heater as we couldn't get furnace to turn on. Other than that, we loved our stay. Any questions I had for clarifications were answered very quickly via text.
