Things to note* Cabin is located on 44 acres of privacy, and access is through maintained gravel roads.
It only snows usually once or twice a year and melts away a day after. Normal vehicles can make the drive up no issue. However highly recommend 4x4`s if it snows, bad weather or unfamiliar with mountain roads.
*Water is gold, our water is limited in these woods as we are on our own well system. Please do not waste water or you will run out. Please make sure all water sources are turned off when not in use.
-Please note that this cabin is a natural secluded forest area where there are bugs, insects, critters, bears and other animals. Unfortunately with a cabin in the woods these factors will be in play.
We do have a pest control company that routinely treats the property. We ask that you please be mindful and clean up any food outside that attracts these animals. Please remember to close all windows and doors to prevent the bugs and critters from coming in. We also recommend bringing bug spray and wearing a light jacket at night if outside.
A refundable security deposit is collected upon booking can be used to cover any damage that occurs during the stay. Automatically refund after 7 days after stay if no damages occur.

Great location, neatly kept cabin. This was such a treat to stay with my family. We really loved the view in particular and it was a great base to explore Smokey Mountain National Park from. Highly recommend- but take the host’s warnings about water seriously - we ran out the night before we checked out!

Great little place, dirt road to get there was a bit scary, but once I did it a couple time I felt more confident.
Great view. Close to everything but feeling like you were away from it all. Peaceful and serene. Would stay here again !

Thank you so much for your lovely review! I’m so glad you enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and that perfect balance of feeling away from it all while still being close to everything. It’s wonderful to hear the space gave you a chance to relax and recharge. I’d be thrilled to welcome you back anytime — See you soon :)
We enjoyed our stay here! The reviews had us a bit concerned about the driveway but it was fine. If you live anywhere rural, you will feel like you are driving up your driveway at home. It had a great view, friendly host, and looks exactly as pictured. Hot tub needed a bit of cleaning but we still enjoyed soaking in it. Ping pong table and foosball was especially fun.
This property was the perfect fit for what we were looking for! It had amazing views, far enough away from main attractions, and everything was just as described in the booking! We will definitely book again next year!

We loved the property and the local bear. Everything was great. We would stay again. I love the privacy. The only issue we had was no grill available so cooking was a bit hard for grilled meat but we made due. The host was very attentive when I reached out My kids loved the games. Thanks for a great stay!!
Very nice place to stay. Beautiful views, driveway was a little rough but managed with little trouble with my equinox. Nice and close to all attractions.
The cabin was clean, modern, beautiful and stocked with everything you need! The owners really paid attention to detail for their guests stay. They were also very responsive. We would definitely stay there again!
Our family enjoyed this place. The owner does an excellent job keeping the property at the highest level of the service. We would highly recommend it for family vacation.
The description of drive leading to property was not as well maintained as stated, we got stuck in a hole and had to have help getting out. Description also stated 4 wheel drive was not necessary unless there was snow, which there was not. We could not at property!

Its unfortunate that you were not able to make it to the cabin.
Our roads are on gravel roads are are well maintained.
Our cleaners make the road everyday in a mini van and dodge challenger with no issue.
Additional other guests of other cabins next door were staying at the same time during your stay and was able to make it up with their vehicles of sedans, truck and mini vans.
As written in description we advise suvs and 4x4 for people unfamiliar driving on mountain roads but they are very drivable.
We are in our 60’s and married 4 months ago. We found this gem to stay and it was everything they said it would be. It made a “special place” for our honeymoon! We definitely will be going back many more times. The driveway was a little rough, but as we were leaving there was a tractor smoothing it out. We drove our Honda CRV and it made it fine. The Host is great with a fast response, The whole place was very clean, we enjoyed the Hot tub and sitting on the deck enjoying the Mountain Air. I would definitely give this a A rating.
Great little place for my son and I. Easy to find via navigation. It is up a steep gravel road; however, we didnt have any issues. Place was clean and had all the basics. My only complaint...no ice maker or ice cube trays!
