This was our third stay here, and everything is as promised. The location is great for us, and the rooms are always clean. The grounds have plenty of activities for the family to enjoy together!
It was a nice little place out in the country. There were coyotes nearby howling the first night, which felt like home for me. I enjoyed the games and picture opportunities around the grounds. Cute family vacation spot.
The room was clean for the most part. The shower could have been better. The caddy holder had built up old soap where it had not been cleaned. There is only one hook for towels, which can be aggravating when you have 4 people but one place for everyone's towel. The hand soap was out with no refill. Now for a positive, the bed we're comfortable and their was surprisingly more space than I anticipated. The outside area was fun and my 10 yr old enjoyed it. Pillows cooks use an up grade .
It was a nice place, close to the refuge which is why we came down. The check in process was easy, the grounds were nice and in our opinion the best part was the star gazing area they have set up
We had family in for the 4th and needed additional lodging. The Lazy Buffalo was perfect in location and comfort and cleanliness! And the decor was so fun! We’ll book here again for sure!

Great experience, it’s a cute stay tucked away in the wilderness. The host Julie is great. The space was great and had just the right amount of amenities. We didn’t get to utilize the outdoor activities because of timing. There is a small casino and conscience store within walking distance. We even traveled up to the Wildlife refuge and saw buffalo that were pretty close to road. Overall a nice hidden gem that is both quiet and comfortable.
