This Classic Tahoe home greets you with high beamed ceilings and the charm of a 70's old school ski cabin. Mountain decor optimizes comfort over fancy and the views of Twin Peaks will keep you occupied.

The cabin is located 10 min from downtown Tahoe City, 3 miles from the lake at Sunnyside Resort, and less than 1/2 mile from Alpine Meadows Ski Resort. You'll have access to a Homeowners private parking lot at Sherwood Lift that is directly across the street from the lift. You can ski back to your car for lunch or enjoy the warming hut eatery next to the lift.
In the summertime, bring your bike, fishing pole, and hiking shoes for the unlimited trails accessed from the cabin with the Ward Canyon river running parallel to it. With miles of paved and unpaved trails you can bike/walk for days exploring the sights. Or, get the group together for a tennis match on the homeowners courts located walking distance to the cabin.

The house is chalet-style and has an open floor plan that can accommodate your family and friends well. The living room area has 22 foot cathedral ceilings with floor to ceiling windows and you won't be able to keep your eyes off the beautiful views of Twin Peaks. Two sliding glass doors exit out to a sunny wrap around deck with BBQ and patio furniture to enjoy the views. This level has a cozy kitchen, living area with fireplace and dining nook. You can watch TV, enjoy the fireplace and views, or socialize with the rest of your group.

Off the living area is bathroom attached to a bedroom with a queen bed and a Master Bedroom with king-size bed, half bath off a changing area, and walk in closet.
Downstairs has 3 bedrooms, full bathroom, laundry room, hot tub and sauna The sauna is a good size (2 levels) with enough room to spread out in. After enjoying the sauna, cool off in the shower room with 4 shower heads and a glass atrium that looks out into the forest. Or, skip to the hot tub with great views of Twin Peaks, wildlife, and skiers coming home from a long day on the slopes.
Down the hall are two bedrooms have queen beds with sliders that exit to a deck with hot tub, one bedroom has a queen and twin. All the bedrooms have TV's and hotel style linens with extra pillows and blankets for a great nights sleep.

The cabin's location is equally as good in the wintertime and summertime. Tahoe City is the heart of the North Shore with many events and activities to enjoy. When you arrive at the house, all beds will be made and towels are hung, ready for you to relax. The furnishings are user friendly with plenty of areas for your family and friends. High ceilings with large wooden beams, triangle shaped windows, and mountain decor compliment the 'Tahoe' feeling. The location and amenities of this home makes this a great vacation home year-round.

Awesome for large groups, a classic ski cabin with thoughtful touches throughout. We were all very comfortable and loved the proximity to Sherwood lift at Alpine!

Amazing location. Parking pass to the Sherwood lot was a huge plus, as it essentially made the place ski in/ski out even though it isn't right on the mountain.

Great vacation, the lift next to the house was shutdown but the resort is not far and the house accommodated everyone, thanks.

We loved this property — in fact, it was our groups second time staying there. Hard to beat having both a hot tub and an indoor dry sauna. The house itself is super cozy and comfortably fits a lot of people. Kitchen is well stocked. And the house is a 2 minute drive to the Sherwood lift at alpine.
Sandy and her team were amazing hosts! They were always very responsive and communicative whenever we had questions.
Overall great experience and would highly recommend their property for large groups.

Great ski-accessable location with lots of bedrooms! stayed for a three generation short holiday and didn't have to go to a snow park for the kiddos to sled... just w walked out of the house. Remote, but not too remote. great wifi. would stay again.

The best location!
We were thrilled to stay 2 min drive from the base of Sherwood. A driver would do two drop off runs and then we were able to park in the small lot with an amazing attendant, Brenda. Some of our party were even able to ski from the backside of Lakeview down to the house. All communication with property managers was thorough and prompt. We very much enjoyed our stay.

I've owned and managed my homes in Lake Tahoe for 25 years. These homes are user friendly and set up for large families and groups of friends. The team at Tahoe Cohost Collective assists me in providing the best Lake Tahoe experience for our guests.

What makes this property unique

The house is centrally located on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe, close to all. Lake Tahoe is unparalleled to any other destination I've been to in the world. The skiing in the wintertime is suburb, the white sandy beaches in the summertime will remind you of Hawaii.
