We had a great stay here for a couple of days with our little dog! Place was clean and easy to get into. No problems while we were there and would definitely come back given we’re in that area again!
This old house had everything we needed :) and great views of the stars at night :)

Thank you so much 😊 We’re really glad you had a great deer camp stay and found the place clean and cozy—that means a lot to us.
We’d love to host you again next year
Overall we enjoyed our stay. The place was cozy, mostly clean and in a good location. Unfortunately there was a dead mouse in the toilet when we arrived, and my husband had to salt the stairway into the house to de-ice it. We would have appreciated better preparation for our stay.

Cute and cozy! Loved the tv options, big yard, comfy bed!
Just enough in the middle of no man’s land for us. About a 25 minute drive to St. Ignace. Older home with charm!
Would stay again!

This property was amazing and we will be coming back. Out of the way enough to not be bothered but close enough to things to have plenty to do. We loved our stay.
Easy access to Every where we wanted to go. Minutes from Garlyn zoo, St. Ignace, Ferry’s to Mackinaw Island. Short drive to Tahquamenon Falls and Pictured Rock. House was perfect for my wife and myself.
This Old House was just perfect for our Michigan vacation. The location worked well for us. It was clean and quiet and the perfect spot to come back and relax after a wild day of sight seeing.
This house was just what we needed for our family’s trip to the UP. It was centrally located to many attractions and close to the lake for some beautiful walks and views of the water just a short distance away.
We had a great time. Cabin very central to major tourist attractions like “Pictured Rocks”, St. Ignace, Mackinac Island, Drummond Island to name a few.
Cabin was very clean and organized. Thank you to the Host for a great time and experience.
The house was cute, quiet, cozy, and quaint! It is an older house, but everything worked perfectly and all the appliances and heating and cooling and water pump, etc. are all updated and nice. We really enjoyed our stay and hopefully will be able to stay there again.
It is a very old house with a lot of charm. It worked really well for us and was a great location to be able to drive and see all the sites we wanted to.
The house is a short drive from most anything.
We would absolutely stay here again for our next U.P. trip.
It's truly an old U.P. house - last updated decades ago. However, it has a large, well-stocked kitchen, mud room, and comfy main floor bed. The neighborhood is very quiet and you can't see the neighbors.neighbor's
The location could not have been more perfect. With being only 20 minutes from St.Ignace and I75 it was a very accessible property! Getting there was half the experience as we took the 1st exit after the Big Mac and road the shoreline all the way down! The views were absolutely breathtaking and we ending up going back and playing on the beach with kids as the sun set on the massive lake. The house itself was very charming with a large yard and a fire pit included. We also encountered riding trails and my husband and I anticipate coming back when the kids are older! We have a wonderful time! And the house was equipped with everything we needed from batteries to household cleaners! Thank you!
Pros: great location within 60 minutes of most activities we had planned, plenty of towels, clean, comfortable for the 4 of us, quiet, appliances in working order. The kids enjoyed having a TV in their room and the separate beds.
Cons: we communicated with the property owners about a couple of things and it took several hours for them to respond. The grill was very dirty and had bugs living in it, a smoke detector was malfunctioning, and we suspect mold in the bathroom ceiling. They requested photos but never responded after that.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Thank you.
The over all stay wasn’t bad. Was stocked with things we needed for cooking and staying. The floors didn’t feel clean enough and the overall cleanliness could be better. The bathroom and everything was outdated enough to where it gave off the impression it wasn’t clean enough and we felt itchy being there and left a day early. Outside we were eaten alive by mosquitoes and many other bugs that could be maintained with lawn spray maintenance. We even used bug spray on ourselves and nothing helped. We enjoyed the peace the property offered, but overall could be better.
