We absolutely loved our stay! The secluded location felt whimsical and peaceful, perfect for a family getaway. We enjoyed so much relaxation between the hot tub, the beautiful scenery, and fishing right on-site. It was also a great location—close to all the French Lick and West Baden attractions while still feeling tucked away. We will definitely be back!

I booked this house for a girls trip and it far exceeded my expectations! The house was so thoughtfully laid out and very welcoming. We enjoyed the hot tub, hiking around the lake, and countless hours relaxing in front of the fireplace. Jason was a gracious and attentive host. We will definitely be back!

It was a wonderful mother - daughter’s (4) trip. Property and owner were top notch. Peaceful-tranquil place to relax and enjoy being with family. A place that makes you feel like you are home, even when you are away from home.

Great Property

Our group had a great time. The property was excellent and they thought to include so many wonderful things as part of our stay (s’mores, games, and fire starter). I would 100% stay here again.

The house was beautiful inside and out. The property is perfectly tucked away, but less than a 10 minute drive to the grocery store. The host made all the preparations so everything was beautiful & ready for our arrival, was even kind enough to leave snacks & smores.

Exceptional Property

This property was one of the nicest VRBOs we have yet to stay at with great attention to detail. It’s a great combination between a cabin and modern living. The location is perfect with less than a 4 minute drive to the French Lick hotel. We will be staying here again in the future.

Worth Every Penny

The location is perfect. Just a mile or so from the casino and hotels, but in a remote slice of nature’s paradise. I will go back and would recommend this to anyone considering a trip to the area!

Wonderful and relaxing getaway.

We had an amazing experience! We enjoyed the hiking trail, fishing in the lake, using the putting green, relaxing in the hot tub and sitting by the fire. The property is extremely well kept and the hosts thought of everything- they even left us supplies for s’mores and campfire popcorn. Jason is very communicative, responsive, and helpful with ideas for things to do in the area. We highly recommend this property and definitely want to stay here again in the future.

Amazing secluded property

Jason’s communication with me was awesome, super responsive. The house literally took my breath away, you don’t realize how truly big it is till you get inside. It was very clean. Lots of amenities and goodies. Beautiful backyard space. Jason and his wife are amazing and I’m so grateful we got to book the place!

Thanks for memories

We loved the place that we stayed in. Our kids got to feed fish right in backyard and watch them jump. Both my sons caught and released a fish for the first time! The place was perfect. It was clean, very accommodating, and had everything one would need for a getaway. We will book again for sure. We made great memories. Thanks for sharing your wonderful place with us!

High end stunner

The property took full advantage of the spectacular setting with stunning views. Every detail on both the interior and exterior was masterfully executed. Luxury in convenient but secluded location. The home was immaculate with high end finishes and appliances (w/d was a great blessing). We loved the lake, except for the aggressive little fish that nibbled too much for us to enjoy swimming. It would be nice to have a second full bath, but having the 1/2 bath on the main floor and one in the garage helped. Our host was extremely helpful and obviously takes great pride in this stunning property.

Beautiful house

We had a wonderful time celebrating my son’s 10th birthday on a long holiday weekend. House was beautiful and host gave us a list of many recommendations in the area. The only problem we had was that there were only 2 bedrooms. It was listed as 3 bedrooms. The third bedroom is locked and inaccessible by guests. There is a den with a futon on the second floor which worked, but was looking forward to 2 separate bedrooms for my 4 children. Otherwise, wonderful property !

Thanks for your review, Melissa. I am glad that you had a wonderful time and birthday celebration for your son. The third "bedroom" is a loft, as is clarified in the property description. When I created the listing, there were no options to call it anything other than a "bedroom". Thanks to your comment, I checked it again and now see that Vrbo has provided improved options, so I have updated it accordingly as a "loft". Thanks for your feedback! Also in the property description is the statement that "Note that a downstairs bedroom (un-occupied) is not included in the rental." Jason

Absolutely beautiful place. Everything was meticulous, and the host thought of everything, even down to the tiniest details. The beach towels, phone chargers, snacks, etc. were all little added bonuses that hosts often don't include. Communication was great, check in was easy. We felt welcomed and safe, and it was a beautiful, peaceful property. We will definitely return.

Absolutely beautiful home and property! Immaculately kept and all of the extras were so appreciated! Also, the communication was outstanding throughout the process and while staying there. Probably the best experience I’ve had with a VRBO property ever and I’ve been staying in them for years.
