The location is wonderful; very convenient. I felt very safe and secure. I have stayed here previously when it was under different ownership so I knew the location was good. The cottage is tastefully decorated with everything you need. The cleanliness was impeccable. I love being outdoors so the porch and the pool were a plus! The reservation, check-in and communication with messaging made the entire process a breeze.
The cottage was very clean and in a great location. It was very small but exactly what we needed for a short beach getaway. We’d definitely stay again!
This location is perfect - a block from the pier, boardwalk and beach and some of the best restaurants are right there . The place itself was spotless and the amenities were incredibly thoughtful ! The dog loved ir too …
Clean ( due to a hardworking and thorough cleaning from the wonderful housekeeper Angie) and everything was close, convenient and efficient. We have stayed numerous times at the cottages and have never been disappointed. Can’t wait to go back
Had a great stay here and you cannot beat the location, it is near to everything! Cottage #1 was perfect for me, my Wife and our dog! Dog area was just on the other side of the cottage, pool is great, nice propane grill to use and the laundry area was free! Thanks for a great week and we will definitely be back!
This was a nice, cozy little spot that’s within walking distance of the beach, some good restaurants, a general store, and a bar. We went during the offseason and had a beautiful, peaceful experience
We took a quick getaway, and this place was just right! Great location in the heart of Kure Beach and walking distance to the Pier and food. Highly recommend!
It was an amazing stay. Perfect location with a short walk to the boardwalk and pier. The beach public access was very close by too. We will definitely becoming back to the cottages!
Overall, a great stay and we’d stay again. The location, price, & cleanliness were all perfect. And our pup loved it. A few flying bugs, but nothing too major. The host was very responsive. We had a few issues, but nothing that could immediately remedied and nothing that is a dealbreaker. There’s a window unit in the sleeping area and it was on the fritz. We were sweating at night but the main room unit AC was very cold. There was bug trap right at the head of the bed on the window frame. When I tried to move it, it seemed glued down. I’m glad to see they treat for bugs, however just not by my head. In regard to bugs, we visited in June so the bug situation may be different depending on the season. There were little gnat/flying ants in the bedroom. Very tiny and not swarming, but definitely present. After the first night, there was only a few. There were footprints on the wall- full on footprints that it made me laugh because how did they get there! However, the rest of the unit was spotless. Some other great things about this place was its proximity to the beach and the little pool out front. We saw the pool service company come test the water chemicals & tidy up. The unit has a porch with a little table, chairs and is gated to keep in kids/pets. The pier is very close with a few restaurants. Photos are a bit different than reality. The dark color trim is now a light blue and the fridge is newer. Not a huge deal because it’s still nice, but something to note.
The cottage was perfect for just the 2 of us. It was cozy and comfortable. The location is perfect for walking to our favorite spots and for walking the neighborhood. The only reason for 4 stars is that our air conditioner needed to be serviced and the unit in the bedroom barely kept the space cool. I do give 5 stars for the quick response and attention given to fix the mini-split while we were there. The owner was very responsive to all questions and willing to switch our dates when we needed it as well. You truly will enjoy this cottage for 2!
Overall we had a wonderful stay. We loved how central it was to everything! The cottage was as expected. We enjoyed the patio area and pool very much. Although the welcome book did note the importance of patience when waiting for the hot water in the shower, the time it takes if at all for it to really warm up was very long.
Very impressed with the property and Deanna's working with us regarding extra parking after my wife and i were seperated during hurricane helene causing her delayed arrival. Will definitely stay here again.
Excellent location. Convenient for walking to the beach, pier, and restaurants. Well maintained and updated nicely. The cottage is also very quiet and family friendly. The pool area is conveniently located and clean.
