Perfect Beachside Stay

What a great property! Perfect location to the beach and PRIVATE. So quiet. We loved our time in Falmouth at this historic house. The house and grounds are well cared for. Love the little touches throughout the house. Definitely felt like we stepped back in time and could relax, unwind and enjoy our time at the beach.

Our family loves authentic cape houses and this one is very authentic - we loved being there. We enjoyed the spaces especially the outdoor patios, the yard with corn hole available, the seating area up on the dune with views across the water and enjoying the sunsets from that vantage point. The walks along the beach at low tide were great especially as you can walk as far down the beach to the Falmouth Nature preserve - it's beautiful and unspoiled. The proximity to the West Falmouth Market and the restaurants in both North Falmouth and Woods Hole was great. We also appreciated the security of that neighborhood! There was only one small disappointment in that I think the bikes could use some repair. we could not find 3 bikes that would gets us very far - we couldn't really adjust the seats and the chains kept coming off. But this minor for our family as we love to walk and could easily access the walking/biking trail right from the neighborhood and it was easy to drive the market & restaurants as mentioned above.Our weather was not perfect but we had a lovely family vacation!

private beach, amazing location, exclusive and entirely fabulous

We have rented a number of places on Cape Cod and this one is hands down the BEST! The beach is yards away over a small dune, and it's essentially a private beach. It's close enough to the house to be sitting on the beach and hear a baby waking from a nap. The Bay here is mellow and the water great for swimming. The house is classic Cape Cod, rustic, with lots of bedrooms. The property is FABULOUS for kids, with a large yard for sports and playing, and a large outside living and eating area. We grilled fish and ate outside just about every night. Close to Shining Sea bikeway which is beautiful for running or biking. House has lots of adult bikes which is helpful. Falmouth proper not far by bike. With just slightly more effort, ride all the way down to Woods Hole. The owner is really nice and easy to deal with. Highly recommend this property, five stars. We'll be back again next summer, no need to look any further.

Cottage in the Dunes

Our family couldn’t have spent our week together in a more perfect place! We enjoyed the patio and large yard and the easy access to a most beautiful beach where we spent our days and watched amazing sunsets at night. A truly memorable stay!
