Birch Cabin - Les Cheneaux Landing
Welcome to Birch Cabin
Birch Cabin is a rustic log cabin offering a classic ‘Up North’ retreat in the heart of the Les Cheneaux Islands. One of eleven cabins at Les Cheneaux Landing Resort, this cozy escape is nestled between the shoreline towns of Cedarville and Hessel, only 35 miles northeast of the Mackinac Bridge, making it an ideal destination for relaxation and outdoor adventure.
The cabin features two bedrooms, each with a full-size bed, and an inviting kitchen and living area with a dining table, couch, and chairs. The fully equipped kitchen boasts new appliances (2023), blending modern convenience with classic cabin charm.
Step outside to enjoy the lawn area, complete with a picnic table and kettle-style charcoal grill—perfect for outdoor meals. The small front porch provides a peaceful spot to sip your morning coffee, watch the sunrise, or keep an eye on the kids playing in the sand.
While the cabin offers a side view of the lake, guests are just a short stroll from 250 feet of waterfront along Snows Channel. Spend your days lounging on the sandy beach, splashing on the floating swim mat, or fishing off the two main docks. A sand volleyball court adds to the fun for both kids and adults.
Whether you're boating, fishing, hunting, kayaking, or birdwatching, the Les Cheneaux area is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts. Golfers will enjoy the two nearby courses, with more options a short drive away. Birch Cabin is also perfectly positioned for day trips to Mackinac Island, the Soo Locks, and other iconic Upper Peninsula destinations.
