This 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath home comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests and offers breathtaking bay views, a rocky shoreline for swimming (be sure to bring water shoes!), and a warm, inviting interior perfect for cozy evenings. Whether you're sipping your morning coffee on the deck, enjoying a fire in the solo stove, or unwinding by the wood-burning stove inside, this serene setting is perfect for a true escape. With peaceful surroundings, thoughtful amenities, and direct access to Lake Huron's natural beauty, this getaway is the perfect spot to relax, recharge, and reconnect.

Due to the location of the properties, smoking is strongly discouraged around the home and strictly prohibited in the home. Fireworks are prohibited at a Freshwater location for the safety of all persons in and around the property, even if it is legal in that city.
Fireplace: This property has a woodburning stove!
Fire-pit: Solo stove at the rear of the property on the deck.
Fishing: The cottage location is NOT an easy fishing spot- it's not traditional dock fishing— it's a rocky shoreline. You would be able to fish from there with a long cast, yet the average fisherman would not be able to.

Nearby Hessel Marina you can go fishing off the pier (Lake Huron).
Salmon fishing can be done in the Carp River (20 minutes away).
Les Cheneaux Islands is about 20 minutes away which are boater and fishing friendly.

Snowmobiles: A person (resident and nonresident) that operates a snowmobile in Michigan is required to purchase a snowmobile trail permit. The trail permit enables snowmobilers to ride state-designated trails and thousands more miles of public roads and on public lands (where authorized). It is valid for one year, which begins Oct. 1 and ends Sept. 30 of the following year. State-designated trails are open Dec. 1-March 31 and grooming occurs when there is enough snow on the ground.
