We loved the location as we used the St. Ignace ferry to the island. Comfortable beds and nice TV. View from the living room was fantastic to watch Lake Huron activities. The hot dogs were gourmet and delicious in the restaurant below. Perfect snack at night.
What a cute location! Close to lots of dining & shops. Beautiful view which even came equipped with binoculars. Which our 5 year old daughter was obsessed with ; )
The apartment had everything we needed and was easily walkable to cute coffee shops, restaurants, and the ferry to Mackinac. Couldn’t have asked for more!
A unique property in an excellent location with a fantastic view of Lake Huron. Walkable to many stores, restaurants and close to the ferry dock. There are no smells from the restaurant below and no noise at all in the front room. There was minimal music from the restaurant that could be heard in the bedrooms and kitchen, but once they closed, this was one of the quietest places I have stayed in. Perfect for us and our small dog!

Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Check-in
The property itself was fine, parking was easy and convenient. What wasn't convenient is that only ONE kitchen towel and washcloth were provided for the entire weekend. We had ONE saucepan to work with, and 2 fry pans, otherwise, no additional pans were provided. Basic items were scarce. Things like a colander, spatulas, drinking glasses, hot pad holders, cookie sheets, additional pillows or blankets, a visitor log, basic cooking utensils like whisks, large spoons etc. The supplies for the space left so much to be desired that we had to buy towels and hot pad holders just to cook. These things can be purchased at the dollar store literally across the street. If you are going to advertise a space where meals can be cooked, you need to provide the equipment to do so. I was very irritated with the AI generated responses every single time I tried to message the host to ask questions. I also never received check in or check out instructions. I had to ASK for the code to get the key to get in. I never asked for check out instructions because at that point I was annoyed AF and figured they could figure it out if they didn't want to send the expectations. Overall communication and customer was mediocre at best. The view and convenience to downtown was great, beds were comfortable, otherwise, not super impressed. Mud room area was also not very clean. The rest of the space seemed to be clean.
This was the perfect stay for my visit. I ended up visiting Tahquamenon Falls on Saturday and Pictured Rocks on Sunday for the weekend I stayed, and this place in St. Ignace was a great hub to come back to after each of those day trips. This place is super close to Mackinac Island ferry access, so anyone looking to stay near the Island, this is a great spot to do so. Apartment as described with a beautiful view of the sunrise in the mornings. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay in the U.P., regardless of the trip itinerary!

Great waterfront view!
We had a great two night stay here and it was peaceful and quiet for the last weekend in October. The big windows overlooking the big lake was a beautiful view!
Property was extremely clean! Close to so many things to see and do. Lived here in the UP 35 years ago. Came back to visit and see the changes. Would definitely stay here again!
We had a great time. Tahquamenon Falls, Oswald Bear ranch, Soo Locks, Mackinac Island. We really enjoyed that we could walk to the ferry and we walked to dinner every night as well. The VRBO was in a nice location.
We were in town for a Wedding and needed a place centrally located to both the Wedding and the Reception. This flat worked out perfectly. Gorgeous view of the straights. Easy, hassle free, check in & out. Located right on the strip in downtown St Ignace. We will definitely stay at this property again.
We enjoyed our stay. Close walk to Shepler’s Ferry. Enjoyed Bouys restaurant and the Wild Blueberry. The fireworks every Saturday night in St. Ignace were visible from living room which was awesome to see. Dusty’s Dogs restaurant below was great food!!
Only con was the short twin in the bedroom was very thin and uncomfortable. My husband ended up sleeping on the couch which was more comfortable.
It was a clean property. Perfect for 2 people anymore might be crowded. We were able to walk to the ferry and most restaurants. The sunrise is beautiful. Macinac Island was disappointing but I don't like shopping.
