It was described accurately. Could use more seating in the living room and definitely mirrors in the bedrooms. The neighborhood was old however walking distance to restaurants and ferry was great. Fireplaces put out great heat and the kitchen was fully stocked with all appliances.

Long weekend

My teen- college kids and us parents stayed for four nights, with our dogs! We used the house as home base and explored across the bridge in Petoskey, St Ignace itself, and up to Taqhemenon falls- we stopped at Cut River bridge before arriving Wednesday night too. The house was just right for us- parents and dogs downstairs, teens upstairs- we made dinner the first night, as we arrived late and a lot of our restaurant options were closed- we had everything we needed to cook, and made our breakfasts before going out for the day. Thanks so much, we had a great time- even used the fire pit one night for s’mores!

Spacious place. Had what you needed to make meals. Only a Keurig, so you need pods if you want your own coffee. There's different temperatures throughout the home, which was hard to keep everyone comfortable. Check in is super simple. Great communication with host. Was very clean. Comfortable for us. Overall great experience.

Family Visit

Perfect location for visiting Mackinac Island and surrounding area. And we loved that we could spend our evenings in the back yard around a fire...cooking up smore's. Highly recommend.

Great family stay!

My siblings and I, plus our doggos, just loved this home! You can tell how well-loved it is, and it has so much unique character. Perfect location to just walk to the ferry, as well as the shops and restaurants. After a long day on Mackinac Island, we thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the yard with a big box of fudge. Highly recommend - your family will love it too.

Perfect vacation get away

We LOVED the location of this place and the cleanliness! Everything you needed was here and it was so clean. We really appreciated that. We also LOVED that the backyard was gated and we had a place to keep our furbabies safe while we enjoyed the island instead of leaving them in some boarding place. The hostess also responded all the time in a timely manner.

Nice Place, Great Location

We had a 2 night stay with friends, it was nice and clean. They did mention the sloped floors and low ceilings which are true. Because of that, it maybe be a little uncomfortable for someone aboue 6'3" or 6'4". It would be nice to have a couple chairs out on the deck. Overall, it's a nice place to stay.

Sweet home. Quaint, slightly slanted floors. Clean. Keurig coffee maker only so bring Keurig pods!! It was nice to have 4 complimentary pods there. Sleeps 7 but living room seating for 4. Over all very nice. 5 stars.

One bathroom was the hardest part. Honestly if the owner just added a half bath it would really help the property. Also put a mirror in another room. The only mirror in the entire house is in that one bathroom.
