Everything was great. Quiet neighborhood, Well kept older home. Easy walk to the downtown area and ferry's. Took a pet invisible fence and it worked great.
The property matched the description and photos, and was easy to find. The home was spotless and very cozy, we instantly felt welcome and comfortable. Even though it does not have AC, the breeze coming off the lake kept it cool which is critical for sleep if you ask us! The fenced in backyard was perfect for our pup, and a great place to grill and chill with privacy. The walk to Sheppler's ferry is a hop, skip, and a jump which we loved along with all the shops and restaurants. We had a very memorable stay and recommend this home!!
It was described accurately. Could use more seating in the living room and definitely mirrors in the bedrooms. The neighborhood was old however walking distance to restaurants and ferry was great. Fireplaces put out great heat and the kitchen was fully stocked with all appliances.

Liked: Cleanliness, property conditions & facilities, communication
Property was clean, sturdy, and very easy to navigate. The bedroom i slept in was nice and cold while the rest of the house was warm. Overall great experience
My teen- college kids and us parents stayed for four nights, with our dogs! We used the house as home base and explored across the bridge in Petoskey, St Ignace itself, and up to Taqhemenon falls- we stopped at Cut River bridge before arriving Wednesday night too. The house was just right for us- parents and dogs downstairs, teens upstairs- we made dinner the first night, as we arrived late and a lot of our restaurant options were closed- we had everything we needed to cook, and made our breakfasts before going out for the day. Thanks so much, we had a great time- even used the fire pit one night for s’mores!
Perfect location for visiting Mackinac Island and surrounding area. And we loved that we could spend our evenings in the back yard around a fire...cooking up smore's. Highly recommend.
Spacious place. Had what you needed to make meals. Only a Keurig, so you need pods if you want your own coffee. There's different temperatures throughout the home, which was hard to keep everyone comfortable. Check in is super simple. Great communication with host. Was very clean. Comfortable for us. Overall great experience.
My siblings and I, plus our doggos, just loved this home! You can tell how well-loved it is, and it has so much unique character. Perfect location to just walk to the ferry, as well as the shops and restaurants. After a long day on Mackinac Island, we thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the yard with a big box of fudge. Highly recommend - your family will love it too.
This house was perfect for my husband and me. It was clean, quiet, and away from the crowd while being still in town close to the ferry and to services. Thank you!
