We love this property; it has everything you need for a fantastic getaway! The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils / cookware, soft fresh towels, beautiful views of the bridge, peace & quiet! We have stayed here previously and it never disappoints. One of our favorite places to stay when we head up north.
Beautiful home with a lovely owner/host. Throughly enjoyed our stay. Check in and out was easy, walk to the water with the amazing Mighty Mac easily viewed.
A beautiful property that is well furnished and well kept. A 50 yard walk and you're on the shore of Lake Superior with a nice view of the Mackinac bridge. Within 10 minutes from the ferry to Mackinac Island, shopping and dining options. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
We came back this year, and had a fabulous experience again! We spent time visiting the island for bike riding and touring both St. Ignace and Mackinac!
Super cute place. Very nice! We were exhausted after exploring each day and never made it to the beach to see the view but we’d surely visit again. Thank you so much! Very clean. Beautiful place.
Very clean, very well-stocked home with a cozy-cabin sort of feel to it. There is really nothing missing that you can think of, as the host has supplied nearly everything for her guests. Susan’s communication is great and I’m sure if there had been an issue (there was not!), she would have helped immediately! The only thing that I’d mention would be a lac of AC, and with Canada wildfire smoke blowing in during our stay, we had to close the windows and not take advantage of a nice breeze. The interior of the house got pretty warm because of this. (Obviously, wildfires in Canada is no fault of the host)When you get to the beach, the view of the Mackinac Bridge is really amazing. The beach is accessed via a path and id say about 50 yards or so. The little deck area with chairs and fire pit is super nice down there, and the beach itself is lovelyAll in all, a great stay at a very nice place. Recommend when in the area!
Had a great stay at Susan's cabin. The cabin is nicely decorated and very comfortable. We spent a little too much time in the cabin due to inclement weather but we felt right at home. Would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a beautiful place in St. Ignace.
Our group of friends thoroughly enjoyed our five night stay. Susan is a great host and made sure that we had everything we needed. The guest house was comfortable and well appointed. We felt right at home. The location is perfect with breathtaking views of the Mighty Mac. We had so much fun that we already booked for next year!
Every single thing was top notch: the view, beds, decor, and houseware, and even firewood and smores, Susan provides everything for the best VRBO you may ever have.

Wonderful Stay
We stayed here for the Jeep the Mac event and the cabin was cozy, clean, and homey with a great view. Thank you for sharing your beautiful place with us - we hope to visit next year!
This place is a gem. Everything about the guest house and it’s surrounds is ideal for rest and rejuvenation. The gardens around the property are stunning. The cedar glen is so peaceful. The shoreline is beautiful. We hope to come back.
Great house with all you need for your visit. Grocery store is close by for food and refreshments. Clean and comfortable. Susan is a great host.

About the host
Hosted by Susan Justice
As a child, my parents would take all of us to the Upper Peninsula for vacations. I will never forget sitting in our family station at night just watching the Bridge. And then there were the trips to Mackinac Island aboard the ferry and riding our bikes around the island. Well time passes and I moved to California because of my job. When my husband and I were traveling in our motor home, I decided to treat my husband to the wonders of the Upper Peninsula. Of course, he thought of Michigan as if everything was like Detroit. He fell in love with Saint Ignace and the rest is history.
Why they chose this property
I purchased the best piece of property in the Upper Peninsula. We are located right next to the Mackinac Bridge on Lake Huron. Beautiful!
What makes this property unique
The location is perfect for visiting Mackinac Island, shopping in downtown Saint Ignace, driving to Tahquamenon Falls State Park. Plus can you imagine making s'mores at your bonfire in the evening.
