About this property

This is a two bedroom home located on the Straits of Mackinac, Lake Michigan. This house is in a quiet residential neighborhood, but private, with only one house close next door. The deck and back yard facing the waterfront. All amenities including WiFi, washer/dryer, full kitchen stocked with basic dishes, 12 cup coffee pot, toaster, air conditioning (in season will be installed in windows) and small portable charcoal grill are available. There is a chimenea on the deck and a fire pit in on the beach front property to the east of the house. Location is 5 miles east of the Mackinac bridge on Gros Cap Rd, with views of St Helena Island. The beach here is rocky, but water accessible for kayaks and swimming; water shoes are recommended. Sandy dunes are located approximately 5 miles west of the house, for all day sunbathing and swimming. Located within 5 of Mackinac Island Ferry Boats, many restaurants and tourist shopping.

Mother daughter weekend

Had a fabulous time at this adorable cottage! Heated bathroom floors were a nice bonus in the mornings! We were even able to get a campfire started and enjoyed spending some quality time together.

Our first UP adventure and my sister’s wedding 💒

It was an amazing experience! The view, the home, just wonderful! We really enjoyed watching and hearing the ships coming through the straits. Watching the sunset over the lake. Seeing the bridge lit up at night. The entire trip was amazing! Thank you for sharing a wonderful, clean, and comfortable home for us to stay in!
