About this property
The Cactus Flower at McCormick Ranch
This ground-level home is handicap friendly. 2 sliding glass doors provide access to the patio. The patio overlooks the courtyard and is steps from the pickleball/tennis/basketball court. Just beyond the courts, a path leads to the heated pool with attached hot tub and outside grills. Plenty of close walking and biking paths. Dogs allowed with $75.00 extra fee. You are allowed up to two dogs under 15 lbs. each. Acception on weight if the dog is a service animal. The complex is strict with wanting immediate waste removal and requires all dogs be on a leash. Please remember to use dog shoes when walking in the daytime to avoid scalding of the dog's paws. There are many dog-lovers in the area!
Guests can use the entire condo. The grounds are accessible to all guests. Access to the pool and the courts is by way of a key that is kept in the home. Replacement keys are $25 and are occupant's responsibility if lost during your stay. The home consists of a king bed in one room, two twin beds in the 2nd room and queen pull out in the living area.
This complex is extensive and spans over a total of four villages . Each village has a pool and several courts. Paths and the courts/pool are lit at night for added enjoyment of the grounds. Access to the home is via individualized door code. Any parking spot that is not covered is ok to park in by the occupant. Covered spots are reserved. No trailers can be parked in Village II.
We are available for questions all the time. We want your stay to be relaxing and seamless. Please don’t hesitate to call or text with questions etc.
We enjoy walking to Fry’s and Home Depot which is about a twenty minute walk from the condo. Along this walk on Mountain-view, there is a nice walking path that is about three miles long . This is a beauty of a greenway and fun for walking or biking. At the end of the walk is a little lake/pond with lots of opportunity to take in wildlife etc. Botanical Gardens is always a fun time if you are a plant lover like we are.
We are close to the HWY 101. This makes moving about convenient.
Trash receptacle is close to the unit at the end of the parking structure; also mailboxes are in this same area. The mailbox is #13 and a key for access is also in the kitchen of the home. Quiet time is after 10PM and before 7AM. A pickleball set for up to 4 is available for use as well as a basketball. Pickleball usually ends around 8PM nad can start as early as 8AM.
This is an association. This complex has a detailed list of rules that can be found on the refrigerator. Their intention is to make the grounds enjoyable for all. Each guest is required to know the rules and implement them accordingly. No smoking inside the condo. Extra fees will result if rules are not followed.
We have upgraded the washer and dryer to a front load system but we simply don't have a replacement picture of it at this time.
We added a mobile fan with misting option for the hot days.
Every time we visit we see different wildlife. So far we have seen javelinas, Cooper's Hawk babies and mother, small lizards, coyote, grouse and hatchlings, gila monster, and bunnies. The grounds are with endless blooming plants and perfectly groomed vegetation.
