Perfect size for a couple for a handfull of nights. The bed was comfy and the apartment has great historic charm. We loved the down town location so we were able to walk to restaurants and shops.

This place was something special! My best friend and I stayed for a weekend and it was efficient and the decor was cute! The place was very clean. I highly recommend this place to any one. It’s super close to everything in down town. I hope to stay here again!

Cute place, amazing location!

We had a great time during our stay! The place was perfect for my husband and me and had everything we needed for our stay. The location was perfect - a short walk to the water and to downtown. Shelly was an incredibly responsive host and so helpful!

We stayed two nights, mainly to do a glacier/wildlife cruise. Location was perfect, close to everything yet far enough away to be quiet. Very clear check-in instructions from host. We didn't have any problem finding parking right out front during our June stay. Approach to the apartment is a little scuffed and worn, but once you step inside it's perfect. Well equipped kitchen with an oven. Safeway on the edge of town is packed but also well stocked. Bathroom is huge, bed comfy. Everything we needed!

Great location in downtown Seward, AK

The Vrbo was as expected and located in an ideal spot in Seward. The host provided timely and accurate communication and responded quickly to any questions we had. Would certainly stay here again if returning to Seward

Night away

The location was great, right down town and easy to walk to dinner, the pier and the sea life center. The door code was hard to operate to get in, and the room is very small. Perfect for us for our 1 night get away.

Great and quiet location in Seward.

Highly recommended small apartment unit located in the quiet area of southern Seward. Walking distance from a handful of restaurants, the public park and the waterfront. Clean unit and has all the amenities anyone would need.

Perfect spot for our stay

This place had so much charm! It was our first trip to Alaska and we will definitely be back! The place was very comfortable and we had everything we needed. The coffee in the morning was nice and the fans were a great noise barrier since we were downtown. The curtains were a nice touch to block out the light so we could sleep. The host was very responsive and check in was super easy. We loved this rental!

Perfect location for Seward visit

We enjoyed this quaint, historic 1 bedroom in downtown Seward; perfect location for walking the town and not far at all for some great sights and hikes. We had one issue getting into the apartment; wrong code. Had to wait an hour to get a call back from the owner, but she was working. She came over right away and was very nice and helpful. I would suggest getting a different chair in the living room other than the white one as that was not comfortable at all. We would have preferred the TV be in the living area as opposed to the bedroom. Other than that, everything was clean, great and wonderful location and quiet! If you like Thai, try Woody's. It was wonderful. Resurrect Coffee House also, A.

We picked Mt Marathon because of its location. Matt & Shelly hosted us 2 consecutive years Mt Marathon apartments. The units are clean and cozy. The unit this year was smaller but still provided all the necessities for 2 people.Only 20 minutes away from Miller's Landing and the Seward charter boat docks which we traveled to 4 of the 6 days we were in Seward.We cook and all the basic cooking amenities were provided. The only thing we missed was a spaghetti pot

We appreciated the cleanliness! Comfortable bed. Great communication response from host. Location was close to downtown and great restaurants. A free shuttle one block away got us to property from the harbor where bus dropped us off. Overall very happy with the place.
