Tackett's Cottage is a Country Escape! Our cottage is located within a 30 second drive to Prince Gallitzin State Park with peaceful trails and Glendale Lake main marina and beach area. Walking distance to Pirates Cove Pub& Grill and Ice Cream Stand ,Tackett's Corner which contains Excise Distillery, Tackett's Metal Art, CMO 24hr bait, and 24hr Skill Games. Just 10 minutes away from Rock Run Recreation Area.

Great place and the hosts thought of everything. Definitely recommend!! Convenient with restaurant next door. Be sure to check out Joe’s metal shop next door for some great handmade items.

Low-key Bachelorette Weekend

A group of friends and I stayed at Tacketts Cottage for a bachelorette weekend. The house was the perfect place to all be together and socialize but also offered space for privacy and recharge time. Wonderful location next to Pirates Cove and near the State Park/lake. Definitely recommend and looking forward to visiting again soon!

Amazing Stay!!

Very happy with our stay at the cottage! It was clean, decorated nicely, had all kitchen items you would need, and overall had a welcoming vibe. Ellen was the perfect host. She communicated with us quickly on any questions we had and checked in to make sure everything was going good. The ice cream shop next door was a huge bonus for the kids! Highly recommend. We will stay here again.

This was perfect for us. My daughter got married and this was within a 30 second drive of the venue. The layout provided opportunity for the bridesmaids to have their own privacy and an opportunity gather together. It was the get ready space before the wedding and it was perfect. The Tackett's Cottage decor was relaxing. The host was easy to reach and proactive with communication. I highly recommend.

Perfect Spot

This is an absolutely beautiful, spotlessly clean place to stay. Everything you need is included and there are many small decorative touches to enjoy. Ellen left a very sweet welcome note and a bear key chain that was made next door (this was perfect, as I had just had 3 bears on my deck at home lol). And the location was perfect to visit family and friends and spend time at the lake. Not to mention ice cream right next door. I would definitely stay here again!

When your daily adventure is over you can relax around the fire and enjoy the star filled sky. With plenty of things to do local and in the surrounding area you are sure to enjoy your stay at our cottage. We are in walking distance from The Pirates Cove Pub, Grill and Ice Cream stand, Excise Distillery, CMO 24 hour Bait shop and 24 hour Skill games.
