Beautifully done house. Very quiet and comfortable. I love seeing the trees in the snow right outside the door. My grandsons loved this house. It's well appointed including toys for children, games, and books. It had everything we needed, and I would definitely stay again.

House is well maintained with clear access instructions. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans. The house had plenty of board games and toys for kids (a welcome surprise), as well as kids snow clothes available for borrowing (we didn’t avail ourselves but it was nice to see). We were only missing nightlights in the hallway, which is SO minor. Definitely follow the suggested driveway access for ease of access!

Great house in Tahoe Donner

We had a great stay in this wonderful home. The layout worked well with young kids - all bedrooms are on the second floor, so easy to hang out downstairs post bedtime and convenient for middle of the night wake ups. Great backyard and access to nature walking, and privacy from neighbors. We look forward to returning again!

Great location and cozy home for a perfect ski trip

Home was very conveniently located. Home was clean and we'll equipped with toys, additional towel, additional blankets and had basic items in the kitchen. Our group was four adults and 3 kids.

Memorial Weekend Getaway.

My family & I were very comfortable staying at the property. The Scenery around the cabin were breathtaking. Overall, it is a great property for a family of 5 to stay at, and highly recommended. One take, families with large SUV's the curved uphill driveway is a bit tricky to maneuver. This property gets 5 starts & we will stay there again next time we are in the area. Gib

Light filled craftsman beauty

The house has wonderful views— gorgeous windows. Beds were very comfortable. Outdoor patio was very relaxing. Spacious sitting areas for large families. We loved our five night stay— many happy memories. FYI— two bedrooms are connected by a bathroom. If you love to cook, please bring all essential basics, example cooking oil, specific spices, etc. TV, and remotes are rather finicky.

Wonderful house with better than average appointments

We really like this property, it’s our second stay and we’re already thinking “we need to come back!” It’s more space than we actually need for the three of us, but we’ve learned how to spread out and enjoy. We’re overly ambitious cooks and this is the best equipped kitchen in a rental we’ve come across, but you still might need to bring some specialty items if needed (we missed our food processor for example). The host is wonderfully communicative and easy to work with. Thanks for the second wonderful stay!

We enjoyed our stay at GCC. The house was clean, comfortable, well stocked, and the layout of the house provided the necessary room we needed for two families. The children enjoyed the books, puzzles, and toys. The busy street and the steep driveway was difficult to maneuver at times. It would be helpful for future guests to receive information on the best way to make use of the Tahoe Donner community amenities. We learned on our last day that a 20.00 wristband per day provided access to two pools, private Donner beach, and boat launch.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at this cozy mountain home in Truckee. From the moment we walked in, it felt warm, inviting, and even more beautiful than the photos — they truly don’t do it justice. The home was extremely clean and very well maintained, which made everything feel comfortable and cared for.The layout was perfect for our group (6 adults), with three spacious bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms, giving everyone plenty of room to relax. The fireplace made the living area feel wonderfully cozy, and the den/office was a great bonus offering a quiet, private space when needed.The outdoor patio was one of our favorite spots. The seating was comfortable, the ski lift chair was such a charming touch, and the views from every window and angle were absolutely stunning. It felt like being wrapped in mountain scenery.Inside, the décor was beautifully done with a thoughtful mountain theme that made the whole home feel special. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked — glasses, mugs, dinnerware, pots, pans — everything we needed to cook meals and feel completely at home.This home exceeded our expectations in every way. Cozy, spacious, beautifully decorated, and perfectly maintained. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
