Harbor Mist Downtown Lexington Sleeps 12!

There are 4 bdrms, a dining room, living room, kitchen w/additional table & chairs, laundry room, 2 1/2 bathrooms, front porch, outside covered porch & back yard, there is lots of space for peace & quiet! This cottage has a lot of character & space inside & out. The neighborhood has historical homes as well as a historical downtown. In a 3 block radius, you can access the brewery, beach, music in the park on Fri nights, shops, theatre, restaurants, pubs & more!

Lots of space inside and out so people are not right on top of each other. There are 4 bedrooms, a formal dining room, living room, kitchen with additional table and chairs, laundry room, 2 1/2 bathrooms, front porch, outside covered porch and back yard, there is lots of space for peace and quiet! The Harbor Mist cottage has a lot of character and space inside and out. There is a front yard, side yard and large back yard for your use. Please respect our neighbors by not yelling or playing music too loud. Quiet time is 11 PM to 8 AM.

The Harbor Mist Cottage is open all year round! There is a two night minimum January 1 through the third weekend of June. We then begin weekly rentals Friday to Friday beginning the 4th weekend of June through the third weekend of August. We go back to a two night minimum through December 31. Memorial Day Weekend and Labor Day Weekend have a 3 night minimum.

Note: If a cottage hasn't been reserved within 10 days of when you want to arrive, then we will rent with a two night minimum. Please email me if this situation should arise and we would be happy to allow a shorter stay.

If there is a problem or you have a question, please call me or text me on my cell phone. State that you are staying at the Harbor Mist and what issue you are having.

The downtown neighborhood has historical homes as well as a historical downtown. In a 3 block radius, you can access the winery, brewery, Spartan Grocery Store, gas, the beach, the park, music in the park on Friday nights, tennis, playground, quaint stores, live theatre, restaurants, pubs and more!

All locations are within walking distance except for golf and the museums.

There is a Welcome Book inside the cottage which will give you suggestions of things to do, places to go, where to eat, golf locations, theaters, museums, medical care and more!
- -You must be 25 to rent the Harbor Mist
- - Quiet time is 10 PM to 8 AM. Please respect our neighbors!
- - Smoking outside only. Butts must be picked up and put in the trash
- - Maximum of 12 people during the day and overnight is strictly enforced

- - No motor homes, campers or tents are allowed

- - Please leave the house clean when you leave

--Remove all used sheets and pillowcases as well as towels and put them on the laundry room floor.

--Put the trash can at the road on Sunday. All trash must be in trash bags. Do not leave any trash bags outside of the trash cans. Thank you!

--Make sure the key is in the lockbox before you leave.

Our stay was fantastic as far as the house went. Very clean had everything it advertised. The only concern we had was our own fault. We will go in the summer months next time. Very peaceful, within walking distance of most everything we wanted to do. We would definitely stay here again

Fantastic stay, house was perfect for our 8 guests…plenty of room! We stay in Lexington often and this was our first time here and the location was the best for walking everywhere! Hot tub was awesome and the large yard was great for playing yard games.

Great Location

The house was clean and comfortable. It accommodated us quite nicely. The outside deck and yard area were very enjoyable. Walking to the beach, park, farmers market, Village Pub, Fresco Mexicano, Jeff's Market, Mama's eatery and downtown shopping was a treat.

Great Location, Comfy Large Clean Home

The house was very clean. We were amazed at how spacious all of the rooms were. Nice big yard with a huge deck with a nice covered sitting area and a lot of furniture. Nice new hot tub.The location is great. We walked to the beach and playground. We walked to restaurants, coffee shop, grocery strore, pharmacy…. We watched the participants in the 5K run past. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Wonderful stay

We truly had a great experience with this rental! From confirming dates, communicating with the host it was seamless. Everything was exactly as the picture's showed. There was plenty of room for 9 and it sleeps 12. Exceptionally clean and comfy..Great neighborhood! We loved it, and are planning on another visit. Lexington is such a fun little resort town..

Great Stay

The house was comfortable, clean, and well stocked. Great location, everything was in walking distance, the beach, the marina, downtown, grocery store. We were with our kids and their families. We have 3 grandkids under 3 years old. The yard was perfect for them to run around. Jessie, the host, was very attentive. We had an issue with one of the toilets and it was taken care of within an hour. We had a great time and plan to return.

Lexington is great!

We enjoyed our stay at Harbor Mist in Lexington. The town is fun for eating, drinking, beaching, and the theatre. We felt overloaded with marketing communication prior to our check-in, but when we needed to know why there were no towels put out, I waited 12 hours for a response, and then reached out a second time to get an answer. Also, please note that while this older house sleeps 12 (we only had 6), 10 of those guests sleep upstairs with only a half bath, making showering a bit awkward downstairs. The yard is beautiful, equipped with a hot tub and a fire pit, both of which we enjoyed. Everything you need is there, and it is within walking distance of everything in town. All in all, we had a great stay and would return again.

Our stay at Harbormist was excellent. The house is very spacious for our family of 10. Big yard for the kids. Great location to walk to everything. We never moved our car. nice weekend

Overall it was a grear weekend. Close to the park and pretty much everything else. It felt a little strange in the middle of a neighborhood.like a new zoo exhibit, but people were friendly and waved back for the most part. Could not start the laundry because I did not have detergent. But we did get the garbage out in time for pick up so it did not sit there all week.

Comfy, Cozy and Convenient

The home was very clean and well-equipped with just about everything you could need. They also had very comfy mattresses. The only thing we needed was a lighter or matches. We really liked that there were no smokers or pets allowed as one of us had bad alleges. The town was really cute and quaint. Lots of nice shops. There was a nice grocery store very well-stocked right at the corner. Most everything was within walking distance of a block. Due to the week we stayed in late September a lot of the stores had very short hours. The beach was close enough to walk to as well but due to the chilly weather, we just drove down to look around. Oh ya there were several restaurants/pubs close as well but we cooked right there in the big kitchen.
