A West Coast feel in the Midwest. Bright and airy, relaxing and calm. Negative energy is always smudged away. Beautiful backyard with deck and koi pond. I have trained the koi fish to be hand fed. Enjoy full use of the kitchen, herbs and spices. Feel free to pick any herbs or veggies growing in the garden, I don’t use any fertilizers on them, I use water from the koi pond for a natural fertilizer. If the weather permits and you just needed to get away and want to stay in for the night, a projector and screen can me accommodated for an outdoor cozy movie night (advance notice required). Until the end of October, walk to the Garfield Park farmers market Saturdays 9am-12:30 just a couple blocks awayLocated 5 min from downtown, 2 min to Fountain Square.

Stayed for 2 nights. There was an issue checking in pretty sure it was a miscommunication on VRBO's end but the host was very accommodating, the house its self was awesome. There was some drunk people fighting outside the property, but nothing the host could control so I don't want to hold that against him. Overall though a plesent stay clean place amazing plants and decor 10/10 would stay again.
I don’t know what the bad reviews are talking about. This place was extremely clean and exactly as described. Close to everything, nice neighborhood, and again, extremely clean. I’ll be back here.

Mid
The house is pretty mid. It was like a last minute option. It also has a weird smell to it- it smells like someone’s basement. The shower looked like it had mold in it too.One the plus side- the bed was pretty comfortable and the host was very accommodating. One thing to note is that for the bedrooms you have to walk through one room to get to the other.
Upon arrival, we were unable to access the property as there was no key located in either of the designated spots provided by the host. Through the windows, we observed that the interior appeared unprepared for guests, with visible trash, leftover food, and a sink full of dishes. We made several attempts to contact the host but did not receive a response, ultimately requiring us to secure alternative accommodations.
We were alittle cautious due to some of the reviews . However due to the location to Lucas oil stadium and the price , we booked. Overall it was as expected , it is someone’s primary residence so it does feel lived in .But overall clean and is as pictured, checkin process was smooth for us,.I would have no issues staying at that location again if I had to be downtown.
Stayed for FDIC. Close to events. Great for two couples or individuals. Host was very accommodating. Nothing fancy

Ostensible
The property was just ok.
I was not a fan of the neighborhood nor the house.
It's quite obvious that this is someone's personal full time living quarters.
The best part of the place is what you see in the picture
The property was nice. We did not really have a lot of time to enjoy the property. We pretty much slept and that was about it, but the location was close to where we needed to be, and easy to find. The fish pond in the back was quite a nice touch.

Indianapolis trip
The home was conveniently located but did not seem like a safe area and there was no parking. The house was obviously occupied and was not left professionally cleaned. You could smell some type of smoke, so if you have allergies it is complete havoc. The bedding did not seem to have been washed either. Would highly suggest getting a professional cleaning before renting out to anyone else.
Overall, we had a good experience - it met our needs and Andrew was responsive and friendly when we needed to contact him.

Shady duplex
Good for price. Somethings in the house need fixed or updated. Not sure if a/c works and some windows had broken screens or no screens. I was a little worried about the neighborhood. There were homeless people on the corner and the spots in front of the house for parking were taken up by people living in the unit next door.
Cute little place. I live in the country so all the city noises were frustrating at times. But that's not Andrew's fault. It's just the location. Loved the outside koi pond and deck.

Okay
There were some nice things, such as the plants and outdoor space. Host was fine. Overall the space didn’t feel very clean or complete.
I spent hours looking at and looking up all the plants. So many I had never seen. I've just gotten into plants in the last few years so I'm learning. Also, very cool spot. Good location. Nicely decorated. Only bummer is that the bedrooms are connected and the door between them doesn't really close. And definitely something sketchy going on across the street but we never felt scared or in danger
Please do not rent from this man . When I arrived at 6:30 I was not able to find the keys in the listed locations of the check in notes . After searching for 15-20 minutes in the rain I went to the porch to collect my things I had sitting in the chairs . I checked the location one more time for the keys still nothing when i picked up my last bag I opened the screen door because it looked like the door was open a little. Turns out it was . I pushed the door open and someone was already in there smoking . Their shoes were at the front door and they had their cigar papers and iPad on a tv dinner table by the couch. I ran to my car fast thinking it was squatters ( the neighborhood is the worst I’ve over been in) the own was not reachable the entire time I searched for the keys . He responded house later after I had to find another place to stay saying he was sorry he will clean up and have the house ready shortly . It was 10pm when he said I could check in . I traveled from Texas and had just went grocery shopping an hour before arriving there . My food would have been spoiled by then .
My stay here far exceeded my expectations. Check-in was seamless and hassle-free, and the detailed guestbook provided everything we needed to know. The home itself is stunning—thoughtfully decorated with a serene, welcoming ambiance that feels both immaculate and spacious. Every detail was considered, making our stay incredibly comfortable. The outdoor space is a private oasis; my husband and kids really enjoyed the backyard. The front porch and backyard are exceptionally decorated, offering a peaceful retreat with the tranquil koi pond, charming pergola, and cozy hammock. (I could’ve spent all night out there!) I was especially captivated by the lush tropical plants throughout the home—both inside and out. It’s clear the host takes great pride in maintaining such a beautiful plant collection. The location couldn’t be more convenient—within walking distance to Dollar General, a gas station, dining options, and the breathtaking Garfield Park Conservatory. The host, Andrew, was incredibly hospitable; his business card in the guestbook made communication effortless, and he responded promptly to any questions. This is one of the best places my family has stayed at. We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting the area—thank you for such a memorable and delightful experience! 5/5
Nice place to stay. Very homely with the plants and decor in the apartment. Nice front porch patio and pond patio in the back. Some homeless people out at night across the street and around the corner, but had no problems with them. Overall very pleasant stay.
