Cherie's Place OBX Close to Beach & Sound

Centralized location in the heart of Kill Devil Hills, historic Avalon Beach. Beach access just 0.5 miles away.

Enjoy a short walk to watch the most amazing sunsets over the sound waters of Kitty Hawk Bay, only 500 yards away. You can also enjoy a multi use path that runs through the soundside of town, perfect for bike riding, morning runs, evening walks, and gorgeous water views.

Do you have a boat? There is a state boat ramp just down the street!

Welcome to Cherie's Place, a two story, newly built, custom vacation home centrally located in Kill Devil Hills on the Outer Banks.

When you walk inside, you are greeted by a wine cooler and wet bar, the perfect start to your vacation! The entry level has a full bathroom with stand up shower, den/additional living area with pull out sofa and laundry area.

Upstairs is where the main living area is with flat screen TV, dining room, fully stocked kitchen, deck access, bedroom with Queen bed, full hall bath, bedroom with King bed, and Master King Bedroom.

Outside at Cherie's Place you can enjoy sitting on the decks watching the sunset, seeing a morning sunrise, a relaxing outdoor shower, or an evening cocktail on the outdoor patio set.

We love furry friends at Cherie's Place but only allow 1 dog or 2 small dogs. Please send us a message if you have questions about your pet. There is a non refundable pet fee of $125. Please indicate if you will be bringing a pet when booking.

Linens and towels are included in the cleaning price. There is one set of sheets for each bed and full towel set (bath towel, hand towel and washcloth) per person the house sleeps.

Owner very pleasant, kind, and attention. Property is well taken care of, its beautiful and very clean! Location is in a great area. I have to say this house was one of the best rentals i have ever done as 5 stars for everything. Kitchen full stocked,like u coukd even bake a cake or make a pie because she has baking dishes, many pots, pans, seasonings, etc. Will def kerp this rental information!

Met all expectations!

This was our first time to the Outer Banks, so we explored the area and didnt spend much time in the house.We stayed here for a few nights in June and couldn't be happier with the house. Met all our expectations. We brought our own beach chairs and then we found out there were beach chairs provided by the owner. So, maybe ask the owner if they have bulky items before packing the car. No walking distance to any shops or restaurants, but everything is close by when driving. For the 1st timers like us, if you want slow paced, resort like area with walking paths, tons of cute shops, cafe, restaurants and more of a high end feel, stay in Duck. If you want miles of beach, accessability to different areas, plenty of parking, and dont need the high end shops, stay around Kill Devil Hill.

I have lived on the OBX since 1973. I married a local and then we had 3 boys. I love the area and want guests to enjoy their stay and discover the OBX.

Why they chose this property

Avalon Beach is one of the original neighborhoods dating back to the early 1950s and is in between the Ocean and the Sound. Also very centrally located to everything the OBX offers.

What makes this property unique

I built this home in 2021 and included everything to make for an enjoyable stay. I have soothing colors of blues and grays along with OBX pictures of interest. We have a large and open kitchen, dining and livingroom, along with a theater room on the lower level.
