"SkyView Rentals Dancing Deer" is a 6 bedroom 6 bath cabin that sleeps 20 and offers panoramic views of the Smokies from one of the most majestic peaks in Wears Valley. Located just minutes from action packed Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, major area attractions, restaurants and endless shopping.
As you enter the warm fully furnished lodge on the main level, you'll find a beautiful stacked stone fireplace flanked by a wall of windows. Enjoy the spectacular views while rocking on the deck or relaxing in the hot tub. Just off the fully equipped gourmet kitchen is a master bedroom with a king size bed, TV and large bathroom with a walk-in tiled shower. A quick flight up to the loft reveals a second master bedroom with king bed, TV, large bathroom, and huge Jacuzzi tub.
Off this bedroom is a cozy game area with pool table, air hockey and foosball, and a loft deck with more fantastic views. The lower level boasts another big-screen TV and 2 other bedrooms (1 with a king bed and 1 with queen-over-queen bunk beds), all with their own private bath. Here you'll find another fireplace and deck to reap those peaceful moments in your rocking chair. One more floor down to the lowest level offers 2 more bedrooms with private bath and Jacuzzi tub, and the beautiful home theater! Awesome Location

We had a great time at this cabin. We had a family of 9 and had plenty of room for everyone. Games and amenities were fun and location was convenient to all the major attractions.

Lots of space but very dated

The cabin fit our whole extended family of 16 well. The back porch had great views and the rocking chairs were very nice. The theatre room was great and parking held our 4 cars well. Stacy was great and very communicative. However, we got the check in email hours before and didn't know we were responsible for TP and PT or that we needed our own towels for the pool. That's about it on the good side. Everything else was ok. All the beds need to be replaced as they all had sagging either in the middle or on the edges. The arcade didn't work, the ice machine in the freezer didn't work, main level bathroom pocket door doesn't lock, there were two coffee pots which was nice but one coffee pot didn't have the right carafe so we couldn't use that. We also found several mice traps that didn't make us feel like the place was clean and safe. Overall, the place just needs a major maintenance overhaul. It did what we needed it to do - provide a place for all of us to stay. However, the experience wasn't what we wanted.

Wonderful stay

Our family enjoyed our stay very much. Any issues that we had were promptly handled by the property manager. The check in and out process was very easy. We would definitely stay here again.

50th Celebration Weekend

We booked this big, beautiful cabin for 4 nights to celebrate our parents' 50th wedding anniversary. There were 11 of us total and this cabin was so spacious and comfortable! The cabin was clean and had gorgeous views! Only downside were a few issues like the outlets not working in the bathrooms nor our tv in the bottom bedroom. However, I would book again for sure.

Graduation trip

A quick trip to celebrate my sons graduation with the family. Plenty of space and lots to do inside the cabin. Small repairs need to be taken care of but nothing to stop the fun

It was absolutely beautiful in the cabin and out on the decks. We didn't want to leave for sure. There was a cabin across the way from us that had a lot of loud music and they were loud themselves, but for the most part, it was very peaceful.

Dancing Deer

The property is nice, but it needs some renovations like doors that don’t work and light bulbs that were out, also the deck door was originally unable to shut until we called. The deck railing is loose and there is mismatched wood holding it together. The pool table had one stick and no chalk. All showers leaked to the next floor. We didn’t know it was four floors - hard for some older people to climb. For this amount of money it should be immaculate

A little run down

We had a lot of fun in this cabin! The indoor theater and pool table were great and the neighborhood was quiet overall. However, - There were doors that didn't close and doors that didn't open. - The BBQ pit was rusted out! This was a big inconvenience for us. - One of the eyes on the stove didn't work (front left). -The cabin was generally rundown. Overall, the property served us well, but we will not be back

Fantastic Family Fun!

Great location and views. The very best part is that each of the 6 bedrooms have their own bathroom. The bedrooms are fairly comparable making it “fair” among different families. We went with extended family(5 separate families) and although we didn’t do absolutely everything together during the day, we were together eating, talking, playing games, and even watching a movie in the evenings. One of the most memorable vacations ever!!

Nice getaway

House was very well laid out with plenty of space. Beds were comfortable. Excellent view from the upper level bedroom balcony but a little bit obstructed on the main floor deck due to tall trees. It is a great location to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. It is definitely a rental as you can see the wear and tear throughout but we were still able to have a good time. Owner did stop by to replace the receiver so we could use the theater room which was very cool. Air Hockey table did not work but the other games were fine and we played pool a lot. They were building a house right next door so we heard construction every day but at least they didn't start until 8-ish. Overall was a great trip.

Just a few minor issues

The beds were not great. The bedroom that I personally stayed in was broken, and a couple of the other beds were as well. The bed that I stayed in was broken underneath, and would "pop" when we sat down on it. The righthand side of the bed was leaning, and when I looked under the bed to see what the problem was, there was a cinderblock holding the broken boards up. The bed on the 2nd level (where the hot tub was) also had this problem. The bedroom dresser on the bottom floor also had a broken drawer. Overall the stay was amazing and we had a great time. Other than the beds. :)

Property had mouse and scared the family of kids

Property had great views and was mostly comfortable. There was ample space for 3 families. For the amount that is charged for the property, it doesn't provide basic amenities like bathroom rolls and/or bath tissues. No coffee/tea or coffee filters or dish washing liquid. If you are just going there for the views. the property is great. The worst part of the experience was when a mouse showed up in the living room. It was 10p.m and the property manager was not contactable even after multiple calls. They didn't return the call till 9:15a.m the next morning and only to tell me they wouldn't have done anything different and sometimes they do see mouse in the cabins. We have stayed in cabins before and have never experienced this. The conversation was unapologetic and was not acceptable. She said they have never seen a mouse before. When my family was trying to drive the mouse out, there was a lot of mouse poop behind the refrigerator and the oven. I wouldn't recommend this property for two reasons. the attitude of the property owner and the cleanliness of the property.

Great Location and View

Stayed with with our family (a group of 12). The house layout with multiple bedrooms each having a bathroom was a great feature and selling point for us. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking supplies. There were a few minor issues that we identified at check in and the property manager was quick to have maintenance address them. Great location close to pigeon forge but far enough away to enjoy the mountains and not feel that you are in the middle of all the hustle and crowds.

Scenic Views

Wonderful property with panoramic views of the smokies. Our family of 6 had plenty of room to spread out and didn’t even use one level. We felt right at home, and especially enjoyed the porches, hot tub, air hockey table, and big dining room table. The cabin is in close proximity to the attractions of Pigeon Forge but we were so happy to escape the “kid strip” and return to the serenity of the hills. One con to be aware of is construction directly to the right of the cabin, which could be loud at times.

Great Mountain Vacation

This vacation was wonderful. From going thru the reservation process and then the intact person. Stacy did a great job with making sure that whatever needed done she was there to make sure our stay was comfortable. We will be back. The view from the balcony' s during the day and then at night viewing the lights is beautiful. Thank you Stacy for a wonderful place and for being there for us.

Sandra and I, plus our kids and Ginger our Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever want you to have a great time just as we do when we get the chance to stay in our cabin. We moved from the Twin Cities and settled down in a suburb of Tampa, Florida, but always loved the beauty of the Smoky Mountains as we drove between Florida and Minnesota. We always said that when we could get a place to share with our family and friends we would. We also wanted it to be a place that we could share with others.
