Great home. Trendy furnishings (two farmhouse sinks!) but didn’t feel stuffy. Feels like someone lives there, not a flipped property done just for VRBO. Will stay again.
Nice and spacious home, worked great for our group, everyone got their space and was able to relax after long days of exploring . Would definitely recommend and use again
We had a long stay in Rapid City and this place fit us perfectly. Three large bedrooms, big kitchen, two baths, with two family rooms and a dining room. Beautifully restored Victorian home that’s walking distance to downtown, grocery stores and restaurants . The property is close to many of the National parks and monuments in the Black Hills area. Checkin was smooth as could go, Jessica sent clear easy to read instructions. If you are ever in the Rapid City area and you need a little extra space… I’d check this place out first. Can’t wait to return
We had a pleasant stay. Loved the parking. The only complaint I have is that two of the cooking pans were dirty and there was no frying pan or large pots. I had to buy a frying pan. The temp in the house would never go above 68 degrees. The first night it was 50 miles an hour winds so it was cold. Also, the back yard needs to be cleaned up.
Excellent hosts!! Very responsive to questions we had at the start of our stay. A little confusing in that we received automated check in instructions as well as a check in message from the hosts. Wasn't expecting a separate message that varied slightly in information. The home has lots of character, with plenty of room for everyone. Originally this was not the home we viewed online and thought we had selected. I'm not sure what occurred there. Happy in the end though.
We had a wonderful stay at this property! It was incredibly clean, well-maintained, and felt like a true home away from home. The owner was very responsive to our questions and requests, and the property was perfectly situated for our vacation plans.

Disliked: Check-in, communication

We were unable to get into the property. I called both the numbers listed in the booking, only to get voicemail. Also, left a message through VRBO and chatted with a VRBO agent. We decided to book a hotel room for the stay. Later found out later property managers were out of town. We did manage to get a full refund.
We had a great time. Location was great.
2 things: We didn't know AC was on a timer. It got hot that first night. The box fan provided did not work.
Other than that, the place was great.
We spent 5 days at the Cozy Historic Home in Rapid City with kids age 1-8 and the place was close to many activities for the kids as well as hikes to the Badlands, Custer Park and Wind Cave. An hour away to Deadwood. Our host was very responsive and made everything great. Highly recommended!
We loved this house. The house has beautiful original woodwork, porch, and hardwood floors, and every inch has been updated. The bedding is super comfortable. We had a great stay!
Everything was great. Had only one issue and for the price of the house they did not have any shampoo, soap or lotion for the bathrooms. A real bummer since you don't notice it until 10pm when you want to take a shower after a long day of traveling or enjoying outdoor activities in the area.
We stayed here with our kids and pets on a cross country journey. The interior was decorated really nicely and looked like the pictures on the website. I couple suggestions I would make is to change out the rug in the front entry to something with grip on the bottom, provide coffee pods and shower items and ask the downstairs tenant to tidy up the backyard. Communication with the property manager was great. There was plenty of room for our crew to spread out.
