Great Location with Easy Access to All the Area's Activities!

You can enjoy all the wonderful seasons that Northwest Michigan has to offer from our 2 bedroom condo that offers a private bath for each bedroom and parking spaces right in front. We have a second condo in the same complex that is the same size, floor plan and cost, only different decor.' If this calendar is full then check out VRBO # 3673389
We are located half way between Petoskey and Harbor Springs with only a 5 mile distance to both of their wonderful shopping districts and marinas. In the winter it is less than 7 miles to the ski areas and the winter sports park, and within walking distance of the cross country skiing trails in the park. Summer offers a 2 mile beach in the state park a 12 minute walk, right on Lake Michigan and Little Traverse Bay. The area is full of wonderful inland lakes for fishing. You may want to enjoy one of the 21 golf courses within 20 miles.
Maybe you would just enjoy the sight seeing of all the beautiful lakes and Victorian homes. The shopping districts offer all kinds of unique shops and galleries. Mackinaw City, Mackinaw Island and the Bridge is just a scenic 30 miles away. The Charlevoix to Harbor Springs Wheel way trail is just outside our door. For winter skiing we are less than 7 miles to both Nubs Knob or Boyne Highlands ski areas. There are cross country ski trails right next door in the state park. We like this condo complex so well and its location we bought the second one in here. Will rent for a month but not during the busy summer season which is for two weeks max.

Pros: Cute place. We were comfortable staying here. Location was convenient when we wanted to visit Harbor Springs, Charlevoix and Mackinac Island. Cons: Surfaces seemed to be wiped off, but we began to notice cobwebs in the corners, dead bugs, and dust accumulated if you happened to move something. Not nasty dirty, just needs a deep clean.

Great fit

Perfect location between Petosky and Harbor Springs. Close to anything you need recreationally or practically. Host thought of a lot of extras and provided good communication. Bring your own shower supplies. Could use a deep cleaning, but acceptable for this clean mouse. I would gladly rent again.

Review of Condo

Overall my impression of the property is negative. Not very clean, hair & dead ants on the all the bathroom floors and some on the floor in the living room by the table lamp. Unit could use some overall cleanup & remodeling. No soap & shampoo provided so bring your own. Luckily we did. Good location & quiet are the positives.

Great place

Clean and comfortable just like the listing says. Great location by the State park. This was our second year staying here and wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Hazel is very nice and accommodating.

Comfortable and roomy condo

Clean, well appointed lodging put us close to everything in and around Petoskey. Nice place to land after a day of rock hounding and town exploring. We even found a bread knife to slice a fresh loaf of cinnamon raisin bread! Easy in and out, fabulous grocery practically across the street. Would highly recommend

Attractive condo with plenty of space

Well maintained, attractive condo with large living room, nicely appointed kitchen and convenient parking. Our group of 5 adults and a toddler really appreciated the convenience of having 2 full baths plus half bath.

Family Delight

My wife and I stayed with our 2 grandkids ages 9&10 for 6 days then were joined by the kids parents for the remainder of the stay. We really loved the location most of all because we could walk into Petoskey State Park and ride our bikes to Petoskey and Harbor Springs. We watched the 4th of July from both communities on the beach in the park. The Condo provided us perfect accommodations for our stay and we really appreciated the use of the gas grill and the washer and dryer. We couldn’t have chosen a better place!

This was perfect place for a short girls weekend! There was enough space for all of us. The listing states there’s a double futon in one of the bedrooms along with the bed, but there wasn’t. It wasn’t an issue, we all had a place to sleep. I definitely recommend this place!

Wedding Weekend

We stayed here because we were getting married in Petoskey. Location was perfect. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and the living room was cozy. Down sides were it’s next to a major road and was noisy due to the window air conditioner, would have liked directions for the living room tv ( 5 remotes very confusing). Bed was very soft and there was no ironing board that we could find, there was a iron though. The price was very good and we probably would stay again but in cooler months when the air conditioners are taken out.

We are empty nesters(who are now retired from Education/Coaching and Real Estate) who love to travel and have been coming to this part of NW Michigan and Lake Michigan since I was a child, to visit my Aunt and cousins. We still have some relatives in the area. We currently live in the Kansas City area and have for over 50 years now. We have always wanted to have a place in the area that we and our married children and 9 grandchildren could enjoy. Besides this condo and the other one we own in here, we also have one in Branson, MO and Ruidoso, NM that we rent out when we or our families are not using them. We have been renting our properties since the first one we bought in Branson in 06.

Why they chose this property

Being a real estate agent (now retired) I look for location, location, location and we knew as soon as we saw this condo that it had all the features we wanted, but most importantly it was located close to all the places we enjoy. We like being in the trees and backing up to the state park with just a short walk to the Lake Michigan beach. We also prefer a smaller complex with less units that tends to offer a more peaceful stay.
