In August/September gather sunflowers from our 4 acres of sunny faces.

It was quiet and very relaxing at this property. The property was very well supplied with everything you need and very clean. The host was wonderful, so helpful and answered every questions so promptly. We didn’t use the hot tub but it was very well maintained and clean.

Absolutely loved this place! The host was friendly and welcoming, the amenities were exactly as described, and the hot tub overlooking that view was unreal. The space was so cozy and comfortable that we couldn’t leave—we added three more nights just to enjoy it longer. Would 100% stay again!
This is exactly as listed on VRBO…great place, fully furnished kitchen, very clean and the hot tub was a plus! We plan on telling family and friends about it!

This is our 2nd time staying with Sue and she and the house were just as great as the 1st time! The house was clean, well stocked, and Sue was very attentive. The farm also looked beautiful this time of year. Highly recommend this stay!
It's a great place to stay with your family or friends and relax amongst nature. The Hot tub is an additional fun activity to enjoy and relax after hiking on the farm on which if you're lucky you'll be escorted back to the cottage by a sweetheart dog named Tyler. The cottage inside is fully stocked up with anything anyone would need to cook and all linen is provided for.Overall a great fun place to relax and enjoy for a few days.Highly recommend!!!
Our stay was top notch! Sherb was very accommodating and the home was beautiful. The fishing was good and the property beautiful. Thank you Jamison family!

We loved the property and the location was central to the things we wanted to do and the motorcycle rides we had planned. We spent Fri at flight 93 memorial and Sat to Cook's Forest and Kinzua Bridge. The hot tub was great after a full day of riding. All 6 of us said we would definitely stay again. It is a gravel driveway, but it is flat and we had no trouble negotiating it on the motorcycles.

Thank you Sharon for choosing our retreat. Glad all enjoyed, sounds like a great weekend of riding. Would like to host you and family if in the area in the future. I was concerned for bikes if rained (there is an empty bay at blue bldg in needed) fortunately no worries of rain.

My son was playing baseball for 4 days at Slippery Rock and this was the perfect getaway to come to after the games and relax and have the best family fun! Each morning my husband and I had our breakfast on the porch, before our crazy schedule for the day started! They amenities were perfect and everything that we needed or could have needed to feel right at home was there! I would definitely recommend this place for any family!
We had a great time staying at Sue's place and we even had a special guest our first night, which we all loved! 🐶 The house was clean and laid out great for our friend group. The farm is relaxing and we even got to enjoy some fishing. We would love to stay again next time we're in the area!

Peaceful Retreat for Friends w/activities & restaurants nearby
This location is perfect for friends looking to reconnect or families looking for a homey location with a full kitchen and multiple bedrooms with comfortable beds. Everything you could ask for including a hot tub, a fishing pond, fields of corn and sunflowers in season. And friendly horses, cows, and dogs. Plus Sue and Sherb are the perfect hosts. Extremely responsive and very communicative with suggestions on things to do in the area.
We were attending a wedding on the Grove City Campus and needed a place to stay for the weekend. The house was lovely and it was set up well with everything we needed for our stay. It was the perfect size for our family of 5 adults. The owners were very attentive in communication both before and during the trip. Very nice people! We would definitely stay here again if we were ever in the area. Thanks so much!

About the host

My husband grew up on this farm and I also grew up on a farm approximately 15 miles from here. I fell in Love with the land here, beautiful rolling hills, scenic for miles with farmlands surrounding area and sparkling pond. Actually my husband put the pond in several years ago and we have slowly stocked with fish, bass & bluegills.
Recently we had the chance to buy back the small house on the corner of our farm, near our farm buildings. Upon 6 months of remodeling, we opened as a short term rental, May 2023.
We have met so many wonderful people from various regions, all areas of PA, Long Island, NY, Detroit, TN, OH. We anxiously await all future guests and hoping you enjoy our lil piece of down home, country life and relaxation!
Why they chose this property
The most rewarding scene of our retreat is the views, regardless the time of year!
What makes this property unique

Also, you can ride or walk the Allegheny Rails to Trails! Visit the Oldest golf course in Foxburg, 7 1/2 miles and also the local winery and have dinner riverside at the Allegheny grill. The Grove City outlets are a 30 minute drive with many surrounding activities.
